Pardeep Narwal becomes the first player to score 300 points in a Pro Kabaddi League season
What's the story?
Pardeep Narwal broke the record of highest raid points scored in a match by scoring 34 points against Haryana Steelers in the second eliminator of Pro Kabaddi League Season 5. Not only this, he also became the first person to score over 300 points in a single Pro Kabaddi League season smashing the previous record by 169 points held by Anup Kumar.

At the tender age of 18, Pardeep became the highest point scorer in Pro Kabaddi League season 3 as well where he scored a total of 121 points in 16 games. However, he has scored 308 points this season, playing just 7 more games and has at least one game in hand which is the Eliminator 3.
The heart of the matter
Pardeep has got 227 of those 308 points in the form of successful raids portraying his high success raids and has 16 Super 10s this season which is also a Pro Kabaddi League record. Not only this, he has 13 super raids to his name this season which shows why he is a menace to every Kabaddi team's defense. Interestingly, all of his 308 points have come from his raids and none in the form of tackles. He has been the epitome of consistency this season averaging 13.4 points each game.
What's next?
Patna Pirates have made their way into the third eliminator of the playoffs, the winner of which, will get a shot at making it to the final of the Pro Kabaddi league.They will face Puneri Paltan today at 9 PM who scored 9 points more than Patna in group stage in as many games and thus will be a tough team to battle with. Pardeep will look to extend his record tally today as much as possible.
