PAT vs MUM Dream11 Prediction: 3 surprise picks for today's Pro Kabaddi 2024 match - November 6, 2024

The Patna Pirates (PAT) and U Mumba (MUM) go head-to-head in the 37th match of Pro Kabaddi 2024 on Wednesday, November 6, at the Gachibowli Indoor Stadium in Hyderabad.

The Pirates are one of the most exciting teams in PKL 2024 with their energetic set of young raiders, and they enter this match on the back of successive victories, including a solid comeback win over the UP Yoddhas most recently.

U Mumba have also started this season well, losing only one match in six, and are currently placed fifth on the points table, and come into this one after beating Dabang Delhi KC yesterday.

Let's now look at the top three Dream11 surprise picks from this fixture.

#3 Arkam Shaikh (ALL) (PAT) (12 Credits)

Arkam Shaikh has replaced Gurdeep in the Patna left cover, and at 12 credits, he's a solid Dream11 enabler. An experienced all-rounder who has played some big games for the Gujarat Giants, he has scored three tackle points in three appearances for the Pirates this season, and is yet to get his first major haul of the season.

Against left raiders like Ajit Chauhan, Arkam must be at his best for the Pirates to contain the U Mumba raiders. While his points potential isn't the best, even 2-3 tackle points from him is good value for his price. He's a solid Dream11 surprise pick for this match.

#2 Sandeep Kumar (RAI) (PAT)

Patna Pirates' Sandeep Kumar is their only raider yet to really kick on in PKL 11. With all the talk around Ayan and Devank, this could be the perfect game for Sandeep to step up out of the syllabus to stun the U Mumba defense. Sandeep has mostly played third fiddle to Ayan and Devank, scoring only ten raid points in five matches so far.

However, he scored 86 raid points last season, and once he gets going, he certainly can score a Super 10. A differential with a high points ceiling, Sandeep could be a useful Dream11 surprise pick.

#1 Sombir (ALL) (MUM)

While he doesn't have as low ownership on Dream11 as the other two names, Sombir is definitely a player with much lesser ownership than his Dream11 points potential warrants. The left corner is one of the most confident defenders in the league, and his two solid back holds to stop Ashu Malik right in his tracks against Dabang Delhi KC evidence of his enormous ability.

With 13 tackle points in six matches, including one High 5, Sombir has given a good account of himself this season, and he certainly has what it takes to produce another big haul in this match. Left corners are usually the biggest source of tackle points in kabaddi, and Sombir is definitely a player who could score big.
