Pro Kabaddi 2024, Dabang Delhi K.C. vs Bengaluru Bulls: 3 Player battles to watch out for
Match No. 58 of the Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) Season 11 will see the Dabang Delhi K.C. battle the Bengaluru Bulls. The two teams are scheduled to take to the mat at 9 pm at the Noida Indoor Stadium.
Delhi and Bangalore have already faced each other once this year. The two teams battled in October, and it was the latter who emerged victorious, outdoing their opponents 34-33. Save for this one win, the Bulls have had a fairly disastrous season, losing seven of their nine matches.
Meanwhile, the Dabang Delhi K.C. have put together some exciting displays this year, and are currently fifth on the points table with four wins and five losses in 10 matches. The side was particularly impressive in their last outing when they managed a tie against defending champions Puneri Paltan.
On that note, here are three-player battles you need to watch out for tonight as Delhi and Bangalore go head-to-head once again.
Pro Kabaddi 2024, Dabang Delhi K.C. vs Bengaluru Bulls: 3 Player battles to watch out for
#1. Ashu Malik vs Nitin Rawal
Ashu Malik has been a splendid force for the Dabang Delhi K.C. this season. In the 10 matches he's played so far, the youngster has claimed a total of 114 points. This makes him the second-highest scoring raider of Season 11, only behind Patna Pirates’ Devank who has 115 points. Malik also leads the stats in most super tens (9) and most successful raids (95).
On the other end, after a promising run with the Haryana Steelers last year, Nitin Rawal has quickly become an indispensable part of the Bengaluru Bulls defense. The left-corner has scored 27 points in nine matches. He’s accumulated four Super Tackles, two High 5s, and has a tackle success rate of 51%.
#2. Vinay Redhu vs Saurabh Nandal
Vinay Redhu has been in action in seven of the Dabang Delhi K.C’s 10 matches this season, and he's displayed some impressive raiding prowess. He's scored 34 points in his outings, giving him a raid strike rate of 48%. Redhu was particularly imposing in Delhi's clash with the Patna Pirates, scoring 10 points from his 14 raids.
Making Redhu work for each point tonight will be Saurabh Nandal. Nandal is playing his fifth season for the Bulls and he's strung together some promising performances so far this year. He's scored 16 points in the nine matches he's played, including two Super Tackles. He has a tackle success rate of 35% but was disappointing the last time Bangalore took on Delhi, scoring only one point.
#3. Pardeep Narwal vs Yogesh Dahiya
Last but not least, Pardeep Narwal will be spearheading the Bengaluru Bulls’ attack tonight. Narwal has played seven matches so far in PKL Season 11 and has racked up 37 points. While Narwal has had better runs, he remains a major threat, credit to his experience.
Keeping Narwal on his toes tonight will be Yogesh Dahiya. The right-corner made his PKL debut last season playing for Delhi and scored 77 points in his 23 matches. He's only gotten better from there and has already claimed 26 tackle points this season, including five Super Tackles and two High 5s.
