Pro Kabaddi League 2017, Season 5: The Best 7 from the Kolkata leg

The Kolkata leg of the Pro Kabaddi League was filled with thrillsThe Kolkata leg ended with the home team Bengal Warriors winning two matches, drawing two and losing as many. Bengal were unbeaten in their first three home matches but went winless in their last three.

Their efforts, however, saw them rocket to the top of Zone B. The leg also witnessed Haryana making a superb comeback against the Gujarat Fortunegiants overturning a 12-point deficit.

While the Mumbai leg saw some youngsters turning in match winning performances, the Kolkata leg saw some experienced PKL players proving their class. The best seven from the Kolkata leg features an experienced corner combination, one of the best right covers in business, an Iranian all-rounder, an experienced raider taking responsibility and two super star raiders.

While Surender Nada has slowed down after a barnstorming opening, Mohit has found form at the right time. He scored seven tackle points in the two matches played in the Kolkata leg.

In games dominated by raiders, Mohit emerged as the top defender in both the matches helping Haryana end the unbeaten runs of both the Fortunegiants and the Warriors. His form will be crucial in Haryana as they look to take advantage of their home leg in the coming matches.
