With 8 wins and 2 losses, the season 3 champions occupy the second place with 41 points. with 4 matches still to go, they already booked the Knockout berth, and look to grab the title for the second time in a row.
Telugu Titans
After losing the first 4 matches, the season 2 semi-finalist are unbeaten in the last 7 matches . The attack and defence had lived more than the expectations, so far, for the Titans . The nail-biting stalemate against U Mumba earned them 3 points, as they need to beat either Patna or Jaipur to enter the Knockouts.
Jaipur Pink Panthers
The Abhishek Bachchan owned team endured a defeat against U Mumba in both the encounters, however, the inaugural champions overpowered Patna Pirates, at their home ground. The exciting win against Dabang Delhi put the Panthers at the top of the table. With 2 matches still to go, a win in any one of the game would put Jaipur in the last four.
U Mumba
By this time, last season, the three-time finalist sat pretty at the top of the table having secured a place in the knockouts, but this time, they are fighting for the place in the final four. The resurgence of U Mumba will be strongly tested in the final three games of the season. The season 2 champions need two wins in their last three matches to seal a place in the final four.
Puneri Paltan
The mighty Manjeet Chhillar’s Puneri Paltan started the season on a bright note by dismantling the most consistent side in Pro Kabaddi U Mumba. After topping the table in the first phase of season 4, Pune’s momentum has drastically gone down after enduring three back-to-back defeat. The paltans need to win all their remaining fixtures, to enter the knockout phase for the second time running
Bengaluru Bulls
At the start of season 4, the pundits and experts viewed Bengaluru as the strong title contenders . But the season 2 semi-finalist lies in sixth place with 4 wins and 7 losses and it looks like their campaign is almost over in the current season. To seal a place in the knockouts, the season 2 finalist have to win the final two matches and also want the other results to go in their way
Bengal Warriors
The Bengal Warriors played nail-wrecking battles at their home ground but the poor defence and inconsistency to keep the lead in the dying moments of the game have let them down. With 2 wins and 8 losses, the Bengal campaign is over in the current edition of Pro Kabaddi Season 4. However, with two matches still to go, the Warriors looks to avoid a bottom place finish.
Dabang Delhi
The unpredictable Dabang Delhi side needs to win all their remaining 4 fixtures to have any chances of reaching the Knockouts for the first time. With 3 wins and 5 losses, the Dabangs from Delhi occupies the seventh place. They need to put a stellar performance in the final four home fixtures.
