Rohit Kumar is one of the most skilled and reliable players in the Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) history. He made his debut in Season 3 with the Patna Pirates and earned his first title immediately. In 2019, he led the Bengaluru Bulls to their first trophy. The Telugu Titans roped him in the following season and the Gujarat Giants was his last PKL team as a player in Season 9.
The 34-year-old is currently part of the Puneri Paltan coaching staff as an assistant coach. Under his guidance, the defending champions, have been impressive in the ongoing PKL 11 season. Paltan have won three out of five games so far and are the joint table-toppers with Tamil Thalaivas.

In Season 4, Rohit joined the Bengaluru Bulls and continued his fine form, scoring 93 raid points in 14 matches. He was retained as the Bulls captain for the following three seasons and led the team with a mix of aggression and strategic play.
Rohit’s leadership was a defining feature during his time with the Bulls, particularly in Season 6 when he guided them to their first title. Although Pawan Sehrawat emerged as a star raider, Rohit’s experience and tactical knowledge as captain were invaluable in steering the team to victory.

After his stint with the Titans, Rohit joined Gujarat Giants in Season 9. He played a more supportive role as an experienced raider, contributing with his experience and leadership to guide younger players. Although he was no longer the lead raider, his presence added depth to the team.
