That brings us to the end of our coverage for this contest. Till the next time, this is myself (Arya Sekhar Chakraborty) signing off on behalf of my fellow commentator and good mate Maanas Upadhyay.
A comfortable victory for Austria in the end as Czech Republic despite their valiant efforts couldn’t quite get anywhere close to the victory target and could only muster in their allotted 10 overs. A target of 146 was always going to be a huge challenge and the start put them further on the back foot as they could never really recover the way they would have wanted.
Having lost the openers very cheaply, they needed some inspiration from somewhere to get them anywhere close to the victory target. Sharan Ramakrishnan came out with a positive frame of mind and smashed 3 fours and a six during his blistering knock of 19 off just 7 deliveries before holding out in the deep.
There were some useful contributions towards the back end but neither of those knocks could change the outcome of the game or could get them closer to the victory target. They did end well with a couple of lusty strokes and had to be content with 99 at the end of their allotted 10 overs, handing Austria a comfortable 46-run victory.
Sahel Zadran and Jaweed Sadran were the pick of the bowlers for Australia, bagging a couple each. It was Riaz Afridi who struck some mighty blows in the final over to get them close to the 100-run mark.

9.6 Umair Tariq to Kushal Mendon, length ball outside off, Mendon slaps that uppishly and the skipper at cover pouches that with ease. However, it is a free hit and the batters take off for the single and make it through in time as the fielder realised a little too late that it was not a wicket.
9.6 Umair Tariq to Kushal Mendon, NO BALL! FOUR! A slower delivery above the waist, Mendon heaves that over the square leg region and collects a boundary! Free hit coming up!
9.5 Umair Tariq to Riaz Afridi, full and outside off, Afridi gets the inside-edge through the fine leg region for a single.
9.4 Umair Tariq to Riaz Afridi, SIX MORE! Full and on the fourth stump line, Afridi shuffles across and swings hard at that to launch it over the covers for another maximum!
9.3 Umair Tariq to Riaz Afridi, SIX! BOOM! In the slot and on the off stump line, Afridi holds his ground and absolutely thumps that over the long on region for a huge maximum!
9.2 Umair Tariq to Riaz Afridi, FOUR! STREAKY! Length ball on the off stump line, Afridi goes for the big heave across the line but gets the thick outside edge down to the deep thirds man fence!
9.1 Umair Tariq to Riaz Afridi, an in-swinging full toss on the leg stump line, Afridi looks to work it into the leg side but misses and is struck on the pads. A polite appeal is turned down.
