Thanks a lot for joining me- Mohul Bhowmick- for this exciting game in the Maharaja Trophy. Until next time, take care!
Vijaykumar Vyshak (Gulbarga Mystics' captain): Like I said before, the bowlers are coming to the party more often than not, and it is helping us. Hopefully, we can keep going in the same manner. As a team, this was an extremely positive result. Hopefully, when we come back for our next game, we can continue in the same vein of form.
Gulbarga Mystics beat Bengaluru Blasters by 5 wickets!
Dega Nischal 36 (33) | Abhilash Shetty 3-19 Smaran R 29 (17) | D Avinash 3-22
As was expected, Gulbarga Mystics managed to do a number on Bengaluru Blasters in this game here. The openers of the Mystics started off on a good note but the others in their batting lineup could not quite carry it forward. The Mystics will be pleased with themselves for this result and try to take this form further into the tournament.
However, it was the young duo of R Smaran and Macneil Noronha who batted sensibly to guide their team towards victory. The Blasters did not do too many good things with the ball in hand, and this will irk them a lot. Shubhang Hegde and LR Kumar were the only ones good in patches. This defeat will hurt the Blasters tremendously. This is their eighth defeat in a row in this tournament.
