First six overs, we batted really well but we lost wickets after that during the middle. We are not disappointed with the performance. On this surface, we have to just put a good score on the board
Andre Fletcher, Player of the Match: It was nice to get some important runs on a winning cause. Hope to continue in this fashion for the side and go from strength to strength.
Mushfiqur Rahim, Khulna Tigers skipper: Nice to get this win under the belt. We were quite disciplned with the ball to begin with but would have liked to finish better. But all in all we are happy with our overall bowling performance. Our batting was a good mix of caution and aggression, and I am pleased that Andre batted so well. Happy for myself and Seekkuge, that we were also amongst the runs.

It was a magnificent display of batting by the experienced Mushfiqur Rahim, who ensured that he stayed there right till the end to take the Khulna side home, on a tricky pitch, against some clever bowling.
Giving him good support, was player of the match Andre Fletcher and Seekkuge Prasanna. Fletcher was good with his stroke-play and Prasanna literally finished the match off one over!
It was good bowling on the whole from the Chattogram side but once Rahim started an onslaught, the bowlers wilted under that pressure.
So the Khulna side get their revenge over Chattogram! But even though the player of the match award went to Andre Fletcher, the responsible and crafty batting from Mushfiqur Rahim was simply exemplary.
Thisara Perera's bowling in the 1st innings was also a key factor in this win for Khulna. They go to 3rd in the table while Chattogram are still in 2nd position.
