01:12 AM IST|| That is all we have in our live coverage of this game. This is Samanvaya Sharma signing off on behalf of Arya. We will see you back tomorrow with another exciting game. Till then Goodnight.
Gulbadin Naib (Player of the Match): I am really happy to contribute to my team's win tonight. This is a big stage and I always look to perform well. We knew that we did have not many runs on the board for our bowlers, so we kept things tighter and waited for the opposition batters to commit a mistake. And somehow we succeed in it.
Sikandar Raza (Captain Dubai Capitals): I am really happy with our bowlers with the way they bowled tonight, considering the amount of dew later on as well. We were unable to post a respectable total on the board, but deep within we knew that it was also not a 180+ wicket. I was trying to keep my mind cool and back my teammates. Early two wickets by Olly Stone, give us that confidence that yes we can restrict the opposition below the target for sure. Our plan was quite simple and we wanted to put some pressure on the opposition by bowling some dot balls and yes especial mention to Farhan Khan, really pleased with how he bowled tonight.
Nicholas Pooran (MI Emirates captain): Yeah wonderful night. Brilliant game, we were unlucky to not get over the line. The bowlers did an incredible job both the fast bowlers and the spinners. Farooqi showed his class again. It's the first game, the guys are trying to get off the rust. I own that one, should have finished it off myself. Yeah he has been doing it doing for a while now. He has been doing it for a while now (speaking on Akeal Hosein). We should have finished the game but unfortunately, we couldn't quite get the job done.
Rovman Powell wins the award for hitting the longest six of the day.

00:47 AM IST|| Match Summary|| Dubai Capitals won by 1 run.
The ILT20 match between Dubai Capitals and MI Emirates was a heart-stopping encounter that went down to the wire. Dubai Capitals, after being invited to bat first, struggled to post a competitive total on the board.
The innings began with Shai Hope and Adam Rossington walking out to the middle, but MI Emirates' spinners, led by Akeal Hosein, made early inroads. Hosein's tight lines and seam-up deliveries made it difficult for both batsmen to free their arms.
The first boundary of the game came in the fourth over, courtesy of Shai Hope's drive from the backfoot. However, this brief moment of aggression was short-lived, as Fazalhaq Farooqi struck in the same over, dismissing Hope for 7 runs.
Brandon McMullen replaced Hope at the crease and showed some nice attacking intent. However, Adam Rossington struggled to score and eventually fell prey to Alzarri Joseph's bowling, attempting an unnecessary lap shot.
At the end of the powerplay, Dubai Capitals were 30-1, with McMullen and Rossington at the crease. The strategic timeout was taken, and the bowling team discussed their strategy to restrict the opposition.
McMullen played a blistering knock for Dubai Capitals, scoring 58 runs, but his efforts were not enough to propel the team to a substantial total. Rovman Powell played some powerful strokes and played a short cameo, but he too fell prey to Farooqi's slower delivery.
In the last four overs, Dubai Capitals played nearly 23 dot deliveries, and the continuous wickets by Farooqi halted their run-scoring badly. Farooqi's exemplary spell earned him a five-wicket haul, conceding just 16 runs with 15 dot deliveries from his quota of 4 overs.
MI Emirates, chasing a modest total of 134 runs, lost Muhammad Waseem on a duck as Olly Stone chopped him off with a thick inside edge on the stumps. Stone got another wicket in his next over, sending back Andre Fletcher on a 9-ball golden duck.
MI Emirates lost another wicket in the fifth over as Tom Banton moved back, playing a rash shot on Farhan Khan. The team was reeling at 34-4 at the end of the powerplay.
However, Nicholas Pooran and Akeal Hosein briefly steadied the innings with a 50-run partnership. Pooran played some crucial boundaries, but his efforts were ultimately in vain.
Gulbadin Naib's double strike in the 18th over, including Pooran's wicket, proved pivotal in shifting the momentum in favor of Dubai Capitals. Naib's 3-wicket haul and Olly Stone's 2 wickets were instrumental in Dubai Capitals' win.
In the end, Kieron Pollard's last-ball heroics weren't enough, as Dubai Capitals celebrated a nail-biting one-run victory. This thrilling match marked a fantastic start to the ILT20 season, with both teams displaying exceptional skills and determination.

19.6 Farhan Khan to Kieron Pollard, FOUR! Dubai Capitals win by 1 run. Pollard finds the boundary but that won't be enough to take the MI Emirates over the finish line. In the slot a shade outside off, Pollard slogs it across the line, in the gap and skips away to the midwicket fence.
Now it all comes down to that one big hit. Can Pollard do it?
