End of the match!
Estonia tied with Malta (Malta wins the Golden Ball)
Michael Das 85 (25) | Jais Mathew (2/41) Arslan Amjad 86 (25) | Richard Parkin 2/31 (2)
The craziest of games, considering it was just a dead rubber. After a really poor first innings with the ball, Estonia showed the fight that was missing in all these games with the bat. Amjad and Masood started very well and the former kept going even as wickets fell on the other end. Malta kept picking wickets in the middle overs but just lost the plot at the death, especially against the attack from Hardik Prajapati. Somehow, after a crazy final over with a lot of weird wickets and a lot poor fielding, we went to the golden ball even though not without a bit of controversy again. But that was quite anti-climactic and a weirdly fitting end to the series.
0.1 Ajin Soman to Hardik Prajapati, SOMAN HOLDS ON TO HIS NERVE! Malta prevail in the Golden Ball and finish 4-1! Short outside the off-stump, Prajapati has a wild swing and a miss, they take the bye but it doesn't matter as they needed two to win this. So close yet to so far for Estonia!
So the golden ball is indeed happening...
That was some of the most horrible running between the wickets I have ever seen. How could you not take two on that when you need to win? This match is going into a golden ball - talk about dead rubber, eh? The match officials are out there and everyone's discussing perhaps about who's out and who isn't. Very weird all of this.

9.6 Ajin Soman to Hardik Prajapati, RUN-OUT! We're heading into a Golden Ball! What a thriller this turned out to be, what a game it has been this! Short outside the off-stump, Prajapati swings and gets a thick outside edge but the keeper spills it, goes through the gloves and they were slow to finish the first run and Prajapati would never have made it and he's miles short.
9.5 Ajin Soman to Hardik Prajapati, FOUR! Crucial boundary. Short into the batter, Prajapati swings hard, but takes the top edge to wide third-man and beats the fielder in time for a boundary. Just 2 needed now of the last ball!
9.5 Ajin Soman to Hardik Prajapati, WIDE! Pressure on Soman now, full and goes outside the tramline, it's a wide.
Marko Vaik, RHB, is out there
9.5 Ajin Soman to Hardik Prajapati, NO-BALL! RUN-OUT! Full toss into the batter, above waist height. Prajapati mistimes the pull towards mid-wicket. They finish the single and Savio turns around to get back for the desperate second and sacrifices his wicket. This now just got interesting.
