23:33 PM IST|| That is all we have in our live coverage of this game. This is Samanvaya Sharma signing off on behalf of Arya, as we will take your leave now. See you guys soon. Till then Goodnight.
Tom Kohler Cadmore (Player of the match): Getting off to a strong start was a huge relief, as a poor beginning would have been disappointing. I took it upon myself to lead the charge in the final over, knowing that a single six would make all the difference. Aayan's clutch bowling in that last over was impressive, and I was on the edge of my seat. The pitch offered some swing early on, but overall, it was a fantastic surface for cricket. Our team's preparation for the tournament was ideal, with a relaxed buildup and plenty of bonding time over the past week.
Tim Southee (Sharjah Warriorz Captain):It was a very close match and we are really happy with our win. It always feels extremely good to start any tournament on a high note with a win. TKC batted amazingly tonight and the credit goes to him. The wicket today was a lot better than that of yesterday's one. But we know that we have a deep batting lineup so we are confident about this case right from the starting.
James Vince (Gulf Giants captain): Was pretty happy actually at the halfway stage. There was a fair bit of movement. Hetti does what he does best and small cameos from others so we were happy. We managed to get a couple of wickets but missed the half chance of TKC and then he batted through and it's always advantageous for the team. He is a quality player. He took the right options. If we got him out, the result would have been different. Rehan's innings was outstanding. He hit some quality shots. We have got him for a short period of time. It was Andy's call to be honest. It was difficult to bowl spin with the dew. Checked with Rehan if he could do it, they have a good look at Aayan and felt he has a good Yorker. He actually bowled brilliantly despite coming out on the losing side.

Tom Kohler Cadmore 83*(56) | Rehan Ahmed 46(27) Tim Southee 3/30 | Mark Adair 2/23
The Sharjah Warriors secured a thrilling victory over the Gulf Giants in a nail-biting contest at the ILT20. After winning the toss, the Warriors opted to bowl, and their decision paid off as Tim Southee dismissed James Vince in the very first over.
The Gulf Giants struggled to adjust to the swinging conditions, losing two wickets in the powerplay. Adam Lyth and Rehan Ahmed tried to steady the ship, but the Warriors' bowling unit, led by Southee, applied pressure from the outset.
Despite the challenges, Ahmed and Jordan Cox formed a solid 50-run partnership, taking the Giants to 80-2 by the 10th over. However, Harmeet Singh broke the partnership, sending Ahmed back, and the Giants lost momentum.
Cox and Shimron Hetmyer took charge, adding valuable runs, but the Warriors' spinners made it difficult for them to accelerate. Shot-playing became increasingly challenging as the game progressed, especially against the spinners.
However, the Giants managed to post a formidable total, thanks to a late surge from Mark Adair. Adair's aggressive batting helped the Giants finish with a flourish, setting the stage for a thrilling chase by the Warriors.
In response, the Warriors' chase got off to a rocky start, with Johnson Charles departing after smashing two consecutive sixes. Jason Roy fell on a golden duck, and the Warriors were reeling badly.
However, Tom Kohler-Cadmore and Rohan Mustafa steadied the ship, forming a crucial partnership. The duo took the Warriors to 55/2 by the end of the powerplay and continued to build momentum.
Their 100-run partnership, the first of the season, took the Warriors to 90/2 by the 10th over. However, Blessing Muzarabani broke the partnership, sending Mustafa back, and the Warriors lost three wickets in quick succession.
Despite the pressure, Kohler-Cadmore held his nerve, guiding the Warriors to victory on the last ball. The Giants' bowling unit, led by Mark Adair and Blessing Muzarabani, who took two wickets each, was unable to restrict the Warriors' chase.
The match was a testament to the excitement and unpredictability of the ILT20, with the Warriors emerging victorious in a thriller. Kohler-Cadmore's match-winning innings were the highlight of the match, and his partnership with Mustafa proved crucial in the Warriors' victory.
