16:45 PM IST|| Match Summary|| Haryana won by 72 runs.
Team Bengal won the toss and invited Haryana to bat first on a good batting surface at the Moti Bagh stadium in Vadodara. Haryana's innings got off to a shaky start, losing some early wickets. However, Parth Vats and Nishant Sindhu played crucial knocks in the middle overs, stabilizing the Haryana innings.
Sumit Kumar then took center stage, playing an attacking innings that propelled Haryana towards a massive total. His aggressive batting enabled Haryana to post 298 runs in their 50 overs.
Mohammad Shami was the star bowler for Bengal, claiming three key wickets to peg back Haryana's progress. Mukesh Kumar also chipped in with two wickets, helping to restrict Haryana's total.
In response, Bengal's skipper Sudip Gharami and Abhishek Porel shared a strong opening stand, laying the foundation for Bengal's chase. Porel was particularly aggressive, crunching boundaries along the carpet and using the pace of the ball to his advantage.
However, Gharami suffered a setback when he pulled up his side leg muscle after being hit by a direct throw on his right leg. This injury hampered Bengal's momentum, and they struggled to maintain the required run rate. Sudip Chatterjee too had the same story today, he was also off to a fiery start but then later he went out off the ground and retired hurt, and then when he returned, he was not looked in the same intent and threw his wicket ona loopy delivery, which caused bengal a lot in their middle overs.
Haryana's bowlers, led by Parth Vats,Nishant Sindhu, and Anshul Kamboj, bowled tightly and restricted Bengal's progress. Vats was particularly impressive, claiming three wickets and finishing with majestic figures. Parth Vats was also the player of the match for his victorious performance with both bat and ball.
Despite Karan Lal's valiant efforts to revive Bengal's innings, wickets continued to fall regularly. Sudip Chatterjee retired hurt due to leg cramps, further complicating Bengal's chase.
In the end, Bengal fell short of the target, and Haryana secured a well-deserved victory. This win marked a significant milestone for Haryana, as they advanced to the quarterfinals of the tournament.
43.1 Anshul Kamboj to Sayan Ghosh, WICKET! Haryana qualifies for the quarter-final. What a thoroughly professional performance from the defending champions. On a good-length around the middle stump channel, Kamboj clears his front leg and swings across the line, gets beaten and the stumps have been rattled. Haryana win by 72 runs.
Sayan Ghosh b Anshul Kamboj 6[8b]
Mukesh Kumar ended that over with a blistering extra cover drive from the back foot. Kumar is showing his batting class to all of us.

42.6 Parth Vats to Mukesh Kumar, FOUR! That's not a shot of No 10. On a fuller-length a shade outside off, Mukesh stays a bit leg side of that delivery and goes inside out over covers, beautifully timed for a boundary.
42.5 Parth Vats to Mukesh Kumar, flatter trajectory arm ball on a good-length around off, punched back to the bowler.
42.4 Parth Vats to Sayan Ghosh, whips away the full-length delivery a shade outside off, down towards the deep midwicket region for a single.
42.3 Parth Vats to Mukesh Kumar, drills this fuller-length delivery around off, flat and hard down the ground but straight to the long-off fielder and has to settle for a single.
