Guernsey 126/8 in 10 overs Ben Fitchet 43(19) | Toby Britton 3/11 Alex Bushell 31(12) | Theo Pullman 1/26
It was a valiant effort from Guernsey but they couldn't get over the line in the end as Jersey have triumphed over them in this little channel islands derby. The Guernsey side will have to play their best against the in form Belgian side now, if they're to progress in to the next round from here on.
There were a few contributions from the likes of Ben Fitchet who went berserk in the powerplay and he gave them some hope early on in the innings as he played a really good knock of 43. Towards the end, it was Alex Bushell who fought hard with a well crafted 31 from just 12 balls as he looked to take the score to some sort of respectability.
It was the spinners Tribe and Britton again for the Jersey side who did the majority of the damage. Britton picked up three wickets and ran through the middle order, Theo Pullman, the two Tribe brothers, Perchard and all other bowlers picked up a wicket apiece. Overall, it's a fantastic win for Jersey and they will be qualifying into the finals week with this one.
