That's it from today's coverage of ILT20 M4 between MI Emirates and Dubai Capitals. Thank you for joining us. This is Meeth Agrawal signing off alongside my co-commentator Pradeep. See you tomorrow as Gulf Giants take on Desert Vipers in Dubai.
Tom Banton is the Player of the Match! Here's what he has to say: It was quite with Stone bowling well, friend of mine, obviously didn't wanted to get out to him. Just wanted to through with intent, it was a good day. Just took my time when the ball's in my area, put the pressure back on the bowlers. Tried to get the team total close to 200, take it deep. I've played a lot of cricket here, wicket's good. It's first my first here, we've got a great squad. Every game someone's have to put their hand up, today it was me.
Nicholas Pooran [MI Emirates captain]: It feels good. We should have got over the line last time. Nothing comes easy. Cricket teaches you everytime. It's early days for us. New conditions, everyone needs time to adjust to it. Farooqi's over was the turning points. It was crucial to get the asking rate up. (On Tom Banton's performance) Not just today, he has been batting fantastic. He took the opportunity and showed out there with maturity. This league and platform can be really good for him.
Sikandar Raza [Dubai Capitals captain]: We pulled the game nicely, in the middle overs and at one point, they were looking to get to 200 with power hitters coming. The momentum was with us, we did well to restrict them. Me and Shanaka are here for that to finish things, but unfortunately couldn't get the job done. when the opportunity comes, he lifts his hand up and says it's my job. Bowled well, eight overs in two games and not many has been scored of him. Gulbanidin is an asset. I wanted to have a DC boy scored the hundred, losing hurts, but the opposition has been good. It has been Shai who should've been getting the Man of the Match.
MI Emirates get their first win of the season as well as their revenge on the Capitals. Shai Hope's valiant century goes in vain as he literally got zero support from the other end. He scored more than 60% of the Capitals' total and that is not how you chase a big total. The Capitals started off well in the powerplay with Hope doing all the damage.
Dunk lost his wicket to Alzarri and then McMullen was there at the crease for 19 balls but could manage just 16 runs and that's when the asking rate kept increasing. Hope did all he could but runs were dry at the other end. He too departed after his century and things just went downhill from there on.
Fazalhaq Faoorqi, after a fifer in the last game, starred again with the ball for Emirates with two important wickets of Raza and Shanaka. Meanwhile, other bowlers too did their job to contain the Capitals.
Tom Banton and Nicholas Pooran were excellent with the bat for Emirates notching their own half centuries and stitching a 109-run partnership that saw MI Emirates post a good total. The Capitals did well to restrict Emirates under 200 but poor performance from the bat meant they couldn't complete a double on MI Emirates.

19.6 Alzarri Joseph to Rovman Powell, THUMPING WIN FOR THE MI EMIRATES! It has been a clinical display from the Emirates to win this rematch against the Dubai Capitals. Slower one, back of a length on middle and leg. Powell glances it straight to short fine-leg.
19.5 Alzarri Joseph to Rovman Powell, short and rising into the batter, Powell tucked it past mid-wicket and scampers back for a couple.
19.5 Alzarri Joseph to Rovman Powell, WIDE! Joseph losing the radar again, slower one but sprays it down the leg-side again, another wide has been signaled.
19.5 Alzarri Joseph to Rovman Powell, WIDE! Loses the radar, short and down the leg-side, wide called by the umpire.
