It seemed as if the Trakia innings just did not get going. They found it extremely tough to carry on after Dave Patel wove his magic around them and managed to scalp four wickets for just seven runs. None of the batters of Pleven stood up to rise to the challenge set to them by the bowlers of Trakia.

Apoorv Mishra, who had been adjudged the player of the match in their previous game against Indo-Bulgarian earlier in the day, went for a golden duck, and the rest of the batting collapsed all around him. This just showed how much of the Pleven batting revolves around Mishra.

The moment he failed, the rest of the batters failed to live up to the expectation. Trakia will be extremely pleased with the way they went about things here, just as much as Pleven will be disappointed with their poor showing.
