Match summary:
Forfarshire win by 4 runs Craig Wallace 123*(34) | Scott Cameron 2/44 (2) Daniel Doyle Calle 115 (35) | Hassan Ali 2/37 (2)
What a match this has been! Two back-to-back hundreds for Daniel Doyle Calle in the ECL - the first player to achieve the feat in the history of the competition - but for the second successive time, he ends up being on the losing side. A total of 193 in the second innings is possibly more than enough 99 times out of 100 - but this was the one time it wasn't. The penultimate delivery was the most decisive ball in all 20 overs today - a dot ball allowed Forfarshire in breathing easy, and Cameron closed the game out successfully after that.
Once again, it was hitting of the highest quality from Doyle-Calle. Unlike the first innings, though, the support was rather less from the other end - Muhammad Babar laid the foundation work for PICB, but his departure in the 5th over left it all for Doyle-Calle. Some of the hits were venomous - the ball might have taken a finger or two had there been any! In the end, it was not to be for the team from Badalona - the 16-run penultimate over took some wind off their sails - Doyle-Calle tried his best in the last over but was cleaned up halfway into it.
