That's all we've got for you from this game but do stay tuned to Sportskeeda for more news and updates coming your way from around the world across sports. For now, my partner, Karthik and I, Sudheer, are signing off. Cheers and have fun.
Mohammad Rizwan (Multan Sultans Captain): You have to keep things simple. You need to adapt based on the match situation. The players also need to play for the team. We have a lot of youngsters. I think the coaching staff, Andy Flower and the support staff & the team management have put in a lot of efforts to make this team. Hope we continue playing in the same fashion.
Wahab Riaz (Peshawar Zalmi Captain): We didn't do well with the ball. As a captain I need to lead from the front, which I didn't do. We dropped catches. We have some time before our next game and we need to work on our fielding. Hopefully we will look to do well in the next game with better performance.
Imran Tahir (Multan Sultans): It's nice to see we got over the line tonight. The batters set the tone with such a big score and our bowlers did well to pull things back. Five wins a row, can't ask for anything more. It was a great bowling spell by me, I stuck to my plans. Dahani is a big guy for us, I wish him all the best. We have been playing good cricket, so we need to prepare ourselves before we move to Lahore..
Peshawar Zalmi must be highly disappointed with the loss today. They never had any chance to stay in the game as they were outplayed in each of the departments. Given the target they had in front of them, it is never going to be easy and they didn't look like it will be easy for them. They kep losing wickets at regular intervals and once they lost Haider Ali and Shoaib Malik, it didn't look like they were going for it anymore. Ben Cutting had a good time in the middle in the final stages of the innings as the match looked it was pretty much over by then as there were no one to support him at the other end.
Multan Sultans have done well with the ball although they had a big total to play with. Though they leaked few runs in the powerplay, they came back well in the middle overs picking heaps of wickets. Shahnawaz Dahani and Imran Tahir pick 3 wickets each in the game and that ensured the match did go out of their hands in crucial stages. Blessing Muzarabani and Abbas Afridi also picked one wicket each in the innings.
With this victory, Multan Sultans register their 5th win of the tournament and are strongly sitting on the top of the table without any hesitations. On the other hand, Peshawar Zalmi have lost their 3rd game and are currently plaed 4th in the table and their net runrate dipping by quite a bit after this loss.
That's the end of the match and Multan Sultans win the match by 57 runs and are unbeaten so far in the tournament with 5 wins under their belt in as many games.

19.6 Blessing Muzarabani to Ben Cutting, short and down leg, Cutting moves inside and looks to pull but he misses it. That is it, Multan Sultans win the match by 57 runs!
19.5 Blessing Muzarabani to Ben Cutting, short delivery from Blessing, Muzarabani moves across and ducks underneath the ball
19.4 Blessing Muzarabani to Ben Cutting, big full-toss from Blessing, Cutting helps it over deep backward square-leg for a maximum. That brings up a fine fifty for Cutting!
