It's time to end the coverage, hope you enjoyed it. Until next time, this is Pragadeesh and Darpan signing off
Sunil Narine (Los Angeles Knight Riders Captain) - Yeah, it's a much-needed win. I think we started good in the powerplay and tried to squeeze them as much as we can. It was a total team effort with the ball. As a batting unit, we could have done better. But we are at that stage of the tournament where we have to win. I don't think net run-rate will come into play if we win games. Yeah, he (on Unmukt Chand) has been batting well. Didn't get the runs in the last few games but he performed well today. We go to Dallas now and will look and see what we need to work on and get the win in that game to hopefully make it to the playoffs."
Heinrich Klaasen (Seattle Orcas Captain) - Thought we batted well. Especially Ryan batted superbly but I think we left 15-20 runs out there in the backend, which was crucial. It is hard to point the fingers, but I think there we went wrong. Reset, refresh and get back. We are not completely out of it. Hopefully, we win the remaining two matches and hope for the rest of the result to go our way. Heavy wind is blowing across the ground that is shaking the sponsors board which was about to fall on Rickelton
Ryan Rickelton (Man of the Match) - Yeah, it wasn't the easiest of wickets first up. It started nicely with the hard ball but got difficult to bat on once it got soft. We thought 140-150 was a good score but 150-160 would have been enough. Good length with change of pace was difficult to get away. Obviously my wicket was disappointing because I feel I could have hit a few more. If we would've gotten a few more, it could made a difference in the end
Unmukt Chand (Los Anglese Knight Riders): I think it was a very important game for us. We bowled well to restrict them to 142. We build a few partnerships and everyone chipped in. I got a hang of how the wicket was. We knew the wicket would get slower as the game goes on. So, we needed to keep accelerating too. Every game for us is now like the finals. We have been playing some good cricket but the results haven't gone our way. Nice to have this win. Looking forward to the next game in Dallas.
Los Angeles Knight Riders won by 4 wickets
Los Angeles are back in track and keep their qualification hopes alive. It was a clinical bowling performance to restrict the opposition to a par total, and in reply, they lost Sunil Narine cheaply but the partnership between Roy and Chand set the tone. Chand was the aggressor inside the powerplay and Roy was happy to take the backseat.
Then, Harmeet broke the partnership in his third over but that didn't help the Orcas to gain any momentum as Chand was going strong at one end. Miller departed cheaply and Nitish's stay was short-lived but Badar made up for his slow start eventually. Things got tricky when Chand got out, much to his disappointment but Russell and Badar smashed a six to ease the tensions
The Orcas had an inexperienced attack and it was evident when they were struggling to make inroads in the first 10 overs.
19.1 Lungi Ngidi to Saif Badar, THAT IS IT! Slower ball from Ngidi, full and at the off stump. Badar waits for the ball to arrive and dabs it down, almost as if to smother the bounce. They scamper for the single as the ball rolls away to point taking the Los Angeles Knight Riders over the line.
The scores are level. There is a run-out check for the direct hit but Dry dragged his bat well over line

18.6 Cameron Gannon to Corne Dry, backs away. The bowler follows him up. Dry is still able to work the ball towards fine leg. THEY WANT TWO! And they complete it despite the direct hit at the batter's end. Good running.
