Sydney Thunder have outplayed the Scorchers here! They have beat the side by quite a margin and have surely outplayed the batters here! The wickets kept falling from the first over itself and the bowlers never stopped taking those wickets. It was one batter after another who was coming in and then heading back to the dug out! It was just Tye and Munro who kept it together and Munro, showing some character from his side as he gave all the fight he could, sadly it was just not enough as there was no support on the other end and all he could do was watch his mates head back to the dressing room from time to time. The Sydney Thunder players have had a stellar performance with the bat and the ball today and are closing to the top 4 here! The Scorchers with the first ever loss in this tournament and they will look to keep it that way until the end.
Thank you so much for tuning in for yet another BBL game. This is Pradeep and Pranav signing off. Until next time.
Sydney Thunder won by 34 runs
Sam Billings has been adjudged the Player of the Match for his stunning knock to get Thunder to 200!
Billings says, something I really want to do, I have been in the English squads, I have been in a lot of bubbles and I love playing for the Thunder, that's the kind of the performances that I want to keep repeating but Test cricket is the pinnacle. I'm really looking forward to build on the performance tonight and make it count in the future games.
