End of the match! Sydney Thunder win by 8 wickets.
It was a match between two great all-rounders - Athapaththu and Wareham. Wareham led the scoring charts in the first innings and picked up the only two wickets in the second while Athapaththu blew the Renegades away with her top-class batting.
She started with intent and found gaps and played over the field in the powerplay. Wilson supported her well, rotating the strike and maintaining a healthy strike rate herself. The duo put together 99 runs for the first wicket and almost looked unstoppable at one point.
Wareham got both of them in back to back overs but it proved to be a bit too late. She still bowled really tight lengths and got the ball to dip and turn a bit while forcing the batters to do something silly.
Litchfield and Knight were unfazed though. The former started her innings with a boundary and both of them ran quickly between the wickets to make sure that the pressure never came on Thunder.

17.1 Georgia Prestwidge to Heather Knight, back of a length and a tad wide outside off, moves away. Knight punches it towards cover/
Georgia Prestwidge [2-0-19-0] comes back into the attack
This should be the last over, only a formality left now. Nice to see Wareham not give up though despite shoulders falling everywhere else.
