The hardest achievements in Minecraft require insane effort and hours of painstaking dedication to get. They are accolades that set the amateurs apart from the professionals and are extremely difficult or rare to achieve. While some of them can be obtained with a few steps and just a bit of luck, others will take days or even months to get.
Here are the 10 hardest achievements in Minecraft.

1) Free the End
One of the most difficult achievements in Minecraft is to reach the End and then defeat the Ender dragon. Reaching the End will take you lots of effort since you must gather 12 eye of ender.
Once gathered, you have to fight your way through to the stronghold, where you can finally activate the portal. After defeating the dragon, you are rewarded with 12,000 XP and the achievement.
2) Star Trader
Star Trader is one of the most painstaking achievements since you have to literally build your way up to obtain it. This accolade requires you to take villagers up to the build height limit of Y-320 and then trade with them.
You can get the trader up to that height by building a bubble elevator and forcing the mob up to the top. Simply purchase any item from the trader at that height to earn the achievement.
3) With Our Powers Combined
To get this achievement, players must collect all three types of froglight. While this might sound simple, it is a painstaking and difficult process since you have to collect all three different types of frogs — warm, temperate, and cold.
Once these three frogs are collected, you must take them to the Nether, where they will have to consume a magma cube. Once the frog consumes the cube, you are rewarded with the froglight. Collecting all three of these will take a while, making this one of the hardest achievements in Minecraft.
4) Master Trader
The master trader achievement requires you to trade a whopping 1000 emeralds with villagers in exchange for materials and resources. Emeralds are one of the most precious resources in the game, and collecting such an amount is the challenge in itself.
This task can be done over time, and you do not need to stack 1000 emeralds at one time to complete the objective. Even so, the large amount and time spent grinding behind the accolade makes this one of the hardest achievements in Minecraft.
5) Monsters Hunted
The Monsters Hunted achievement requires eliminating one of every 36 hostile mobs in the game, including the wither mob and the ender dragon. The two mob bosses are extremely difficult to defeat and will require you to work hard towards the best gear.
You must defeat all hostile mobs to bag this achievement. Be prepared before you take on the wither mob and the ender dragon since they will demand your best weapons and armor.
6) A Furious Cocktail
This is perhaps one of the most resource-intensive achievements on this list since you need to have all 17 potion status effects applied at the same time. Collecting every material for all the potions is a difficult and painstaking process, but the sweet success of the accolade does make it worth it.
You can complete this accolade while doing the next achievement on this list — How Did We Get Here?. Since both are related, it is recommended to attempt this and complete the achievement.

7) How Did We Get Here?
The How Did We Get Here? achievement requires you to have all 33 status effects applied at the same time. This includes potions, as well as other buffs, such as the Dolphin's grace and more.
Getting this achievement requires you to possess all potions and be in the vicinity of certain mobs such as the warden. This is one of the hardest achievements in Minecraft because of the precision and effort required to obtain it.
8) Adventuring Time
If you love exploring the vast and endless biomes in your world, then Adventuring Time is the perfect achievement for you. To obtain it, you must visit all 54 biomes in your world.

9) Arbalistic

Crossbows are one of the most powerful ranged weapons in the game. However, getting five unique mobs with one arrow is a pretty tasking job. You can attempt to complete this achievement by trapping mobs in fences and then attempting to complete it. Additionally, you will need to choose the perfect enchantment, arrow.
10) Cover Me in Debris
Cover Me in Debris is one of the hardest achievements in Minecraft, but it is also extremely rewarding. This accolade requires you to obtain a full set of netherite armor. You can obtain nether out of ancient debris, but it requires you to brave the endless challenges in the Nether region.
Additionally, to craft the netherite armor, you will need an existing diamond armor set since you cannot craft netherite sets directly. This means you must craft two of the most difficult tiers of armor to get your hands on one of the hardest achievements in Minecraft.
