5 best quality-of-life Minecraft resource packs for 1.21 update
Since Minecraft is a sandbox, a lot of content has been created for the game over its 15 years of existence. The community has created mods, resource packs, texture packs, and shaders, along with much more. While mods have added new content to the game, some resource packs have only been aimed at adding quality-of-life features that drastically change one's experience.
In this article, we look at five great quality-of-life resource packs for the Minecraft 1.21 update.

List of five best quality-of-life resource packs for Minecraft 1.21
1) Fast Bette Grass
Almost all grass and mushroom blocks in Minecraft have two different textures on their top and sides. Since there are thousands of grass blocks that quickly load and unload, rendering different textures can be resource-heavy for many devices. Hence, this resource pack makes certain grass and mushroom blocks' top textures appear on their sides as well.
Since the entire block gets the same texture, it boosts the FPS slightly to improve the overall gaming experience.

2) Fullbright UB
In Minecraft, players can create a night vision potion to see in extremely dark areas and under the water, removing any fog. However, having permanent night vision can only be achieved via cheats and commands.
Thus, some members of the community have created a resource pack called Fullbright UB. This offers players night vision for as long as they want without the need for potions. It is also a great quality-of-life pack since it makes things easier for players.

3) Glowing Ores
Players usually head into caves to find all kinds of ores like gold, diamond, iron, and coal. Since caves are usually dark, ores can sometimes be hard to spot, and they are often required to take many torches to see clearly.
For this reason, a popular resource pack called Glowing Ores was introduced. It creates special glowing textures for all ores. Not only does the ore inside the block glow, but the resource pack also has block outlines that glow.

4) Default Dark Mode
When players open any GUI in Minecraft, they will notice that the color will be light gray or gray. However, some players may prefer the dark mode and would not want the GUI to be too bright. For this, members of the community have created the Default Dark Mode resource pack.
It not only makes the GUI darker but also darkens the Mojang Studios intro screen and other in-game buttons. Moreover, this resource pack can reduce the strain on players' eyes.

5) Enchant Icons
Enchantments are powerups that can be applied to gear like weapons, tools, and armor parts. Some can be applied to every gear, while others are category-specific. That said, new players may find it confusing to understand which enchantment can be applied to what gear.
Hence, the Enchant Icons resource pack can be quite helpful, as it shows different enchantments in various colors and displays an icon depicting which armor part, weapon, or tool it can be applied to.
