5 best wandering trader trades in Minecraft
Wandering trader is a passive mob in Minecraft that roams around the world and randomly pops up near a player's base. When players interact with the mob, they will notice that it sells various items like flowers, coral blocks, saplings, etc. Though many in the game's community deem a wandering trader useless, some trades offered by the mob can be useful depending on a player's situation.
Here are some of the best trades the wandering trader can offer.

List of five great trade offers from Minecraft's wandering trader
1) Nautilus shell
The Wandering trader has a small chance to trade a nautilus shell for five emeralds. This trade offer is one of the best in the game since this item can be used to create a conduit. If players are aiming to work underwater for longer periods, they will most likely need a conduit, which is made with eight nautilus shells and one heart of the sea.
If wandering traders are selling this item and players have a few emeralds to spare, they can build eight of them to create a conduit.
2) Slimeball
Slimeball is another great item that wandering traders offer to players for four emeralds. Though this trade might seem useless to those who already have access to a slime farm or good amounts of slime, players who are in dire need of slime might get some from the trader.
Slimeballs can be used to craft items like sticky pistons, lead, magma cream, and more. Hence, one or two slimeballs can be bought from the wandering trader, particularly to craft a few items that are highly useful at a certain point.
3) Blue ice
Blue ice is the only special trade offer that is mentioned on this list and it will appear as a wandering trader's last trade for six emeralds. The best use of blue ice is to create an ice bridge on top of which players can ride their boats. Since blue ice is the slipperiest among other ice blocks — and boats slip on ice — it is best to create an ice bridge for boats.
Crafting a single block of blue ice will require 81 regular ice blocks. Hence, if players have abundant emeralds, they can simply buy some from a wandering trader. However, the mob won't be able to give more than six blue ice blocks.
4) Glowstone
Players can also get glowstone blocks from wandering traders for a mere two emeralds. This trade offer is quite good since players need to go to the Nether roof and mine glowstone, which can be dangerous due to the realm's irregular terrain.
Glowstone blocks can be disassembled into glowstone dust, which can then be used to increase the potency of various potions. Hence, it is a great way to cut one trip to the Nether just to get some extra glowstone dust.
5) Open eyeblossom (in an upcoming update)
Eyeblossoms are brand-new flower types that are generated in the Pale Garden biome. These flowers will soon be officially added to Minecraft when Mojang releases the Winter Drop later this year, along with the new biome. When it is released, the wandering traders will sell them in their open state for one emerald.
Eyeblossoms usually open at night and look their best during that time. However, exploring and obtaining open eyeblossoms from Pale Garden at night can be tricky, because of the new Creaking hostile mob and other creatures that can attack players.
Hence, getting some from wandering trader is the safest option to get them in an open state.
