5 things to know before exploring Pale Garden in Minecraft
1) The creaking is not like your regular mob in Minecraft
The creaking is one of the most unique mobs introduced to Minecraft in recent times. This slender mob will stare in silence and stay motionless, but the moment you turn around, they will chase you and hunt you down—much like the Weeping Angels from Doctor Who.
And if that does not faze you, then this may—the creaking cannot be damaged. No weapon can harm the creaking mob in the game. You might as well toss away your Netherite sword or the mace you painstakingly crafted.
Additionally, natural elements such as lava do not affect the creaking. The only way to defeat a creaking in Minecraft's Pale Garden is by destroying its creaking heart.

2) The creaking heart isn't your average block
As part of the latest update to the Pale Garden in Minecraft, if you damage a creaking or they damage you, an orange trail will lead back to the heart of that particular mob. This makes it much easier to locate the heart in the dense jungle littered with Pale Oak wood and Pale Moss.
The creaking heart is the only way to defeat a creaking. Destroying this living block will get rid of the eerie mob but there's much more to it than meets the eye. If you take a tool with Silk Touch and harvest the block, you can uncover the rather unsettling secret it hides.
Harvest two Pale Oak wood blocks from the Pale Garden in Minecraft and place one block on the ground. Place the creaking heart on it and then place the second wood block on top. Immediately, you will notice that the creaking heart starts to glow.
This unique block is not just a heart but also a spawn item. You can easily spawn a creaking if you wish to, by harvesting and placing the heart between two blocks.
3) The Pale Moss is a very valuable resource
The Pale Moss might seem like a pretty ornament hanging from the trees but this variant of the moss block might be your best bet if you wish to farm bone meal using a composter in Minecraft. Pale Moss gives up to a 65% chance of upgrading the compost level by 1, making it a great compost material.
Additionally, you can also use this block to create a Pale Moss carpet, which can be used to instantly spread Pale Moss in an area and is a great way to farm compost material. The recent Bedrock 1.21.50.24 beta and preview also added more buffs to the properties of this moss.

4) Pale Garden might be a misleading name
When one thinks of the name Pale Garden, one might have expectations of flowers and local flora or fauna. But this biome is a garden in name only — there is a distinct lack of any flora and fauna (except for the looming Pale Oak trees, Pale Moss, and carpet) in this eerie place.
As part of the latest update, all flowers and mushrooms in the Pale Garden in Minecraft have been removed as well. The density of trees in the biome has also been increased, making it even more difficult to navigate.
Additionally, you will find no animals in this biome, adding to the spookiness. It is recommended to stock up on food before you head in since you will not find any livestock in this mysterious area.
What makes the Pale Garden in Minecraft even more creepy is the distinct lack of any woodland mansions. This is interesting as the Pale Garden is essentially a biome variant of the Dark Forest which is known to house some of the best woodland mansions in the game.
5) Why is it so silent?
One of the most important things you should be prepared for before entering the Pale Garden in Minecraft is the complete lack of noise. You will not find the ambient noises you find in other biomes. This is exacerbated by the fact that there are no animals here as well.
The only sounds you will hear in the Pale Garden in Minecraft are the eerie steps of the creaking as they creep up on you as well as the uncanny noises emanating from the Pale Moss hanging from the trees. The reduced visibility from the dense forests compounded with the lack of any signs of life make this new Minecraft biome one of the creepiest in the game.
