5 things Minecraft fans should look forward to in Winter 2024
Mojang has drastically shifted how they release Minecraft updates. In the present model, they release smaller game drops with fewer features at a higher frequency throughout the year. After the Bundles of Bravery drop, they are gearing up for their Winter drop, which has not been officially named yet.
However, we already have a detailed idea about what features coming to the game, thanks to snapshots and beta/previews. Here is a list of some of the best features coming soon to Minecraft.

List of five great features coming to Minecraft in Winter 2024
1) Creaking mob
Creaking is arguably the most fascinating feature coming to the game this winter. The wood-like creature will exclusively spawn in Pale Gardens with the help of its creaking heart block.
It is a hostile mob that will only hunt players when they are not looking at the creature on their screen. Furthermore, it cannot take any damage from conventional weapons or explosives. This is because its heart is outside its body. Hence, the only way to defeat it is by destroying the creaking heart block.
It does not drop anything upon death but its heart secretes copious amounts of resin on pale oak trees, which can be obtained by players.
2) Pale Garden biome
Pale Garden is the new biome that will be included in the next Winter drop of Minecraft. It is an eerie-looking region that will spawn the new Creaking mob at night. As the name implies, all of its trees, leaves, and sky is colorless. The Pale Garden biome creates an uncomfortable atmosphere since the only sound players may hear within the biome is the creaking of wood.
At night, the new biome is quite tricky to explore. Not only does the Creaking follow unaware players, but all kinds of other hostile mobs will also spawn there.
3) Resin brick blocks
Resin brick blocks are a set of new building blocks players can craft and use in their structures. It is a new item that can only be found in Pale Gardens at night and players must attack the Creaking mob multiple times to get it. The mob draws energy from its creaking heart block, which is buried deep inside one of the white oaks. When Creaking is attacked, its heart block will produce resin clumps on other pale oak logs.
These resin clumps can be obtained by breaking them and then smelted into resin bricks in a furnace. Finally, these resin bricks can be placed on a crafting table to create different resin brick blocks. They will be bright orange and offer a unique texture.
4) Resin armor trim color
Resin can also be used as an armor trim color. Players can use resin bricks to color armor sets with any type of armor trim for designs using the smithing table. A choice of armor part, some resin bricks, and any desired armor trim smithing template must be placed by the player.
They will see that the bright orange design of the armor trim will be applied to the armor part after all three components are placed on the smithing table. The smithing table's UI will display a brief preview of the armor.
Resin-colored armor trims will be massively popular since the bright orange color looks like lava flowing through the armor.
5) Pale oak wood blocks
In addition to the Creaking mob, there are numerous new items and building blocks in the Pale Garden biome. This includes a brand-new set of wood called pale oak.
Players can craft white wood blocks with pale oak trees. Blocks like fences, doors, trapdoors, steps, slabs, planks, and more can be made with the new wood type.
