5 best changes in Minecraft Bedrock 1.21.60.20 beta and preview
The Minecraft Bedrock 1.21.60.20 beta and preview is out now, introducing new content to the game, including single-player pause and changes to the UI. Experimental builds like this one allow players to experience new changes or features ahead of their official release.
Here are the five best changes in Minecraft Bedrock 1.21.60.20 beta and preview.
5 best changes implemented in the Minecraft Bedrock 1.21.60.20 beta and preview
1) Single-player pause
Perhaps the biggest addition in the Minecraft Bedrock 1.21.60.20 beta and preview is the ability to pause single-player worlds when entering the pause screen. This feature allows players to pause the game when they head to the menu rather than just use it as an overlay.
This was a much-requested feature, and players can now implement it from the general settings rather than use mods to experience it. The ability to pause the game and take a break without getting eliminated by wandering mobs is a great add-on that vastly improves the gameplay experience.

2) Modifications to blocks
The Minecraft Bedrock 1.21.60.20 beta and preview introduces a host of modifications to the behavior of certain blocks.
The update has made changes to improve the collision detection between moving blocks and mobs in certain cases. Additionally, sculk sensors now detect resin clumps placed by the creaking heart, making it a great feature if you wish to automate and farm resin in Minecraft.
Additionally, blocks such as saplings, short grass, dead bush, crimson roots, and more received a fix to ensure correct rendering and parity with Java Edition. Another interesting feature added to the flora ensures that Pitcher Plants, Torchflowers, Open Eyeblossoms, and Closed Eyeblossoms can now increase the probability of a nearby sapling growing into a tree with a beehive.
3) Creaking gets a facelift
The creaking has received a set of modifications to its behavior and interaction as part of the Minecraft Bedrock 1.21.60.20 beta and preview.
As part of the update, the mob will now crumble if their creaking heart is forcibly deactivated through commands. Additionally, it is now persistent like any other hostile mob, meaning that a save/load will not reset its hostile status.
Additionally, the creaking will no longer play ambient sounds when aggravated but only when it is idle. The Pale Garden has become one of the most eerie biomes, and these tweaks are sure to add to the ever-growing popularity of the arena.

4) Vanilly parity
Vanilla parity refers to Mojang's extensive effort to ensure that gameplay features and interactions are the same across Java and Bedrock editions.
The Minecraft Bedrock 1.21.60.20 beta and preview introduces changes to the mangrove biome to ensure that zombie villagers spawn with the correct skin. Additionally, monsters that spawn in the overworld can now be present in the biome.
As for blocks, the update addresses changes to the hitbox of the lily pad and the sugarcane blocks to ensure parity with the Java edition. It also ensures that TnT blocks no longer flash with a solid white color when exploding. This effect has also been applied to the explosion effect of the creeper mob.
Candles and candle blocks have also received modifications to play ambient sounds correctly. Shears can now be used on cave vines, kelp, twisting vines, and weeping vines to prevent further growth. Mobs such as horses, skeleton horses, zombie horses, donkeys, and mules play their intended ambient sounds.
Meanwhile, foxes will play their mad sound while defending players, and baby drowned will now move with the same speed as baby zombies and zombie villagers.
5) Updates to the user interface
The Minecraft Bedrock 1.21.60.20 beta and preview has introduced modifications to the user interface to ensure improvements to the gameplay experience. As part of the update, disabling realm stories badge notifications via the stories settings will now hide the badge in the story feed and the play screen.
Additionally, the Minecraft Bedrock 1.21.60.20 beta and preview has introduced updates to touch-based devices to ensure that the empty space in the center of the D-pad no longer triggers as the forward button when swimming or flying.
The update also makes changes to ease the modification of graphics settings by consolidating the fancy graphics toggle and Ray Tracing mode into a single Graphics mode dropdown. Fancy and Ray tracing feature the earlier effects, while the simple toggle will disable both settings.
Many more technical changes have also been in the Minecraft Bedrock 1.21.60.20 beta and preview. For a comprehensive list of modifications and updates, you can refer to the official changelog.
The shift from version 1.21.50 to 1.21.60 indicates that the upcoming Winter drop is ready for release. Mojang is already moving on to features and changes for future updates and game drops.
