5 best Minecraft cafe designs
Minecraft is a game of boundless creativity, and some turn their creative pursuits to building cozy cafes where players can enjoy some snacks and relax. However, everyone's creativity is different, resulting in numerous innovative and compelling cafe designs that are sure to catch the attention of prospective customers from particularly far away.
With that in mind, it's worth taking a look at some of the best cafe designs in Minecraft offered by the community. Each design has its own unique appeal and theme, but there should be at least one worth drawing some inspiration from.
Five of the best Minecraft cafe designs
1) Desert Cafe
Inspired in part by Egyptian architecture, this desert cafe uses plenty of sandstone, granite, and mud bricks to create an earthen feeling. Plenty of acacia leaves, grass, bamboo, and vines are also introduced to complement the overall theme of being crafted from the sparse vegetation of the desert. Banners are also used with a distinct coffee pattern to make it clear that this building is a cafe.
The use of warped fungus stairs also adds a bit of color pop to the exterior patio, which is a nice touch compared to all the more earthy colors from the other blocks. This build was created by u/stickymishroom.
2) Cherry Blossom Cyberpunk Cafe
For a more futuristic spin on a Minecraft cafe, this design is worth checking out. Although the base structure incorporates multiple floors of primarily stone blocks and prismarine, the most eye-catching feature is the extensively-detailed and custom cherry blossom trees on each side of the build. These will likely be the most demanding aspects of the build, all things considered.
Still, this cyberpunk design should fit in nicely with larger dystopian builds or any that benefit from a science fiction theme.
3) Overgrown Cafe
Inspired by the works of Studio Ghibli according to the creator, this design is heavily focused on natural plant life to the point that it grows over the wood, mossy stone brick, and prismarine/warped fungus blocks of the cafe. Created by u/CRY5TALAKE, the design also makes impressive use of the pink petals that were introduced in cherry grove biomes in the Minecraft 1.20 update.
There's a lot of free rein for players to put a spin on this design by adding different types of foliage to fit their tastes, as things like pink petals and azalea bushes aren't mandatory by any stretch.
4) Cat Cafe
Using multiple wood types as well as different shades of wool and terracotta, this Minecraft cat cafe is fairly compact but still offers all the amenities of a cafe while presenting itself in an appealing fashion thanks to the cat decoration atop the roof and the floating cafe sign. While it does have an unusual structure, this cat cafe is compact enough to fit in a larger town build.
Whatever the case may be, be sure to fill this cafe with plenty of cats, as they're the most essential part of the build's interior. As important as the cat and sign outside are, having cats inside brings the entire build together. u/Vant9bot shared this build.
5) City Corner Cafe
If players are tight on more unconventional resources, then this cafe design from u/completelyreal might be worth checking out. It's composed primarily of standard wood blocks that are easy to farm and collect save for the wool awning, glass windows, and lanterns which will require other resources like wool, glass, and iron. That said, these aren't necessarily hard to come by either.
Additionally, the multi-floored design presents plenty of room for bookshelves and decorations. The entire build itself is still small enough to fit comfortably on the corner of a town or city block.
