Best Minecraft enchanting table room guide
In Minecraft, players can add special powerups in the form of enchantments to their gear like weapons, tools, and more. These enchantments can either be found in books scattered around the world as chest loot, or they can be obtained from an enchanting table. The table is a basic tool to get random powerups for each gear that players use. However, it can be quite useful early in the game, when any kind of positive enchantment would help.
Since the enchanting table is one of the first magical blocks players use, they can create a unique room for it in Minecraft.

How to set up the enchanting table and bookshelves
An enchanting table in Minecraft is a block that can work on its own. However, when it is surrounded by bookshelves, its power drastically increases and allows players to get the maximum level of enchantments from it.
While players can start leveling up an enchanting table by just placing one bookshelf, ideally, 15 bookshelves should be placed around the enchanting table to get the highest level of enchantments from the block (level 30). The bookshelves should be placed one block away from the enchanting table and can stack up to two blocks tall.
This means that players can either place one block of high bookshelves and surround the table, or place a 3x2 configuration as shown in the picture above.
After placing all the blocks, players can choose any gear they want to enchant and have at least three lapis lazuli on them. This will allow them to unlock level 30 enchantments that will show one of the top-tier enchantments. Once applied, there are high chances of other top-level enchantments being applied as well.
Decorating the enchanting table room
After the enchanting table and bookshelves are set, the main part of the room is ready. After this, players can decorate the room to their heart's desire.
As shown in the pictures above, players can go for a more darker environment around the enchanting table. Blocks like deepslate bricks can be used to create the room to give it a darker tone, and soul lamps can be made to keep the dim ambiance of the room.
Furthermore, if the room is too dark, lava can be strategically placed below the enchanting table with glass blocks on top of it. This will allow lava to brighten the area around the enchanting table without it burning bookshelves.
