Can you beat Minecraft in Peaceful mode?
The desire to beat Minecraft in Peaceful mode has crossed the minds of many players as they enter the endless sandbox world. "Peaceful" is a difficulty setting that has become increasingly popular due to its unique features and relatively stress-free exploration. It is a unique game mode with its own set of rules and parameters regarding health, mob behavior, and more.
This article will explain whether you can beat Minecraft in Peaceful mode. The short answer is – you can't. Read on to learn why.
What is Minecraft's Peaceful mode?
Minecraft's Peaceful mode is a difficulty setting that is considered the easiest and safest, for players who wish to encounter minimal resistance. It features no hostile mobs and your hunger bar does not deplete. Additionally, health is naturally regenerated over time.
The mode features a world with only neutral mobs and players cannot receive damage from explosive items such as TNT. The lack of many mobs also results in the inability to acquire loot dropped by them after being eliminated.

Can you beat Minecraft in Peaceful mode?
No, you cannot beat Minecraft in Peaceful mode. The mode features the absence of all hostile mobs which means that the blaze will not spawn at all. It is an important mob as defeating it is the only way to obtain blaze rods. These rods are refined in the crafting bench to obtain blaze powder — a necessary ingredient for crafting the eye of ender which activates the end portal.
The absence of the blaze means that the eye of the ender cannot be crafted and players cannot activate the end portal to reach the End dimension. Reaching the dimension and eliminating the Ender dragon is traditionally considered beating Minecraft, as players are given the end poem once they jump into the exit portal after defeating the dragon.
Thus, it is impossible to beat Minecraft in Peaceful mode since you will not be able to reach the End dimension without activating the end portals which require twelve eyes of ender. The possibility of finding a world with all twelve end portal frames being activated has close to a one-in-a-trillion chance — essentially next to impossible.
The only way you can reach the end in Peaceful mode is if you temporarily use cheats to change the world to Survival and spawn the blaze mob. But this defeats the purpose and cannot be considered a true Peaceful run since you switched to a different game mode. The only way to beat Minecraft is to play in Survival, Adventure, or the newly-introduced Hardcore modes.
