"Cue Interstellar theme song": Minecraft player builds a beautiful black hole, leaving community mesmerized
Minecraft players never fail to impress the community with their creativity and patience. They have built some incredibly mind-blowing structures from large-scale fictional and real cities to technical machines like computers and calculators. Now, a player has come up with a structure that resembles a massive black home and looks gorgeous.
Minecraft player and Redditor u/MrDrProfessorHuhn took to Reddit to show how they built a black hole in-game. While the scale of the build is impressive in itself, it looks even more spectacular with the use of shaders and reflections. A few other images also showed the sheer number of blocks that has gone into this project.
Reacting to the build, user azzklown7 exclaimed:
"Cue Interstellar theme song..."
This was a reference to Interstellar, a movie by Christopher Nolan that also featured a black home and was seemingly the inspiration behind this build. Likewise, another Redditor u/LiteralGenius claimed that the build looks sick and realistic.
User u/Aggravating_Chair_60 could not stop praising the build and even asked if there was a download option for the world. Meanwhile, u/PixelKat5 joked that he would have to calculate the build's mass to match it to a real black hole.
Most people were in awe of the structure, and this was evident in u/Oxyfool's claim that Minecraft becomes great when in the right hands. At the same time, u/Branman1234 quipped that the entire build looked pretty terrifying. Another Redditor u/LemonOwl_ asked what shader was used in the images.
Another Redditor u/LemonOwl_ wondered what shaders were used while taking the picture, and the original posted claimed they were using the 1.21 Complementary shaders with Euphoria Patches Mod as well as some custom tweaks.
Brilliant builds in Minecraft
This is not the first time someone has built an incredible structure in the game. Fans have always impressed the community with their fantastic builds. A player recently created a large Gothic castle that was intricately designed with an explorable interior.
Other players have mastered the Redstone item and created gadgets like a working computer, displays, and even a solvable Rubik’s Cube. With new updates scheduled for the future, it is interesting to see what Mojang Studios will add and how players will use them in their builds.
