Hilarious Minecraft mod lets you shrink down your character
Minecraft mods are known to transform your vanilla world into something with endless possibilities. While some add-ons can make your character in the game massive, others can shrink them down enough to make Stuart Little feel big. The Shrink. mod lets you shrink down your character massively and enjoy your world from a very different perspective.
Here's everything you need to know about the Shrink. mod.
How to install the Shrink. Minecraft mod
The Shrink. Minecraft mod can be installed using any mod loader with Forge, Neoforge, or Fabric. For this guide, we have used the popular Curseforge repository and its own mod loader.
Here's how you can download and install the shrink mod:
- Head to the Curseforge website and download the official launcher if you do not have it already.
- Once downloaded and logged in with your Mojang credentials, search for the Minecraft Shrink. mod by Gigabit101. Additionally, you can click this link to the mod page
- If you wish to manually install MrCrayfish's Gun Mod, click on the black Download button on the right and place the downloaded ZIP file in the mods folder of your game's installation directory. However, if you do not have Forge/Neoforge/Fabric installed or are new to installing Minecraft mods, use the official Curseforge loader.
- Click on the orange Install button, which will open up a deep link that loads into the Curseforge app.
- Once the app loads with the mod, you will be prompted to create a new instance (installation) or choose an existing Minecraft instance. You can choose an existing one, but it is recommended to install this mod from scratch to avoid any conflicts with existing mods, shaders, or data packs and risk world corruption. Name your instance and create it.
- After creating the profile, you will be redirected to the installed instance's page. Wait for the mod and its assets to get assembled. Once ready, hit the orange Play button on the right to launch Minecraft with the Shrink. mod successfully installed.
Additionally, you will need the following assets to charge and run the shrinking device in the mod:
- Charging Gadgets
- Architectury API (Fabric/Forge/NeoForge)
- Polylib
Make sure to place the Shrink. mod in the same directory as the instance where you placed the files for it to ensure the add-on detects these assets successfully.
