Hilarious Minecraft video shows skeletons with new attacks, leaving the community in splits
The combat mechanics in Minecraft are probably among the weakest aspects of the game, as everything feels janky and limited. This is why many players either get mods that improve how mobs fight or develop one themselves. Sometimes, this can result in some hilarious mob movements.
A Minecraft player and Reddit user named u/Junior-Paint-2687 shared a video on the game's subreddit, showing how they changed the way the skeleton mob attacks. Unlike the usual bow and arrow, the skeleton can be seen wielding an ax and attacking a villager with its other hand.
The mob smacks one villager and then dropkicks another. The caption of the post states that the original poster is reworking how mobs fight.
Reacting to this hilarious video, user u/BriocheRockets said that the jump kick was diabolical. Another user named u/Audigy1 said that the particular villager owed the skeleton money.
Other players then shared their ideas. User u/Alt_Ekho asked the original poster to give the blacksmith a sledgehammer or the mace and then make it attack the skeleton to turn it into bone meal.
User u/Mr_Minecrafter88 said that first, the blacksmith should jump up to the sky and say “hammer down” in a German accent before pulverizing everything within a 10-yard radius.
Another user named u/ocipt added that the cleric should get a mace with an attack that heals the surrounding area while delivering damage with the weapon’s blow.
User u/Sir_TurnipWasTaken said that perhaps the fletcher should get a bow and arrow to use. They should also have the ability to shoot really quickly for a short time.
User u/jozozoltan29 joked, asking if it was “Bone Wick,” a reference to the popular action character, John Wick. Another user, u/Mystic-Dream77, added that the pun was very funny.
User u/Exzircon said that this video reminded them of the old stick-fighting animations, while u/Shop4211 said that the dropkick was personal, and asked if there was a mod available for download.
New mob and items in Minecraft
Minecraft recently got the Bundles of Bravery update, which added the long-awaited bundles to the game. The Bedrock Edition also saw the inclusion of Hardcore mode.
Bundles are a great addition, as players can expand their inventory and properly manage their storage without the need for mods. It also serves as a better alternative to the shulker box. Leather and strings are the only raw materials needed to craft a bundle.
Mojang Studios also announced the Winter Drop. This upcoming update will bring a new overworld biome called the Pale Garden. Players can find a new hostile mob called the Creaking here, along with the eyeblossom flower, the resin block, and the Creaking Heart.
