How to farm pale moss in Minecraft

Pale moss is a variant of moss blocks in Minecraft found in the Pale Garden biome, where the Creaking mob spawns at night. These blocks can be used as a decorative or building block in all kinds of structures. However, there are a limited number of pale moss blocks in the Pale Garden biome. Thankfully, there is a method to farm massive amounts of pale moss, although manually.

That said, here is a quick guide to farm pale moss blocks in Minecraft.

Steps to manually farm pale moss in Minecraft

1) Find Pale Garden and obtain all pale moss blocks

The first objective is to find the Pale Garden biome. The region can generate anywhere in the Overworld but is usually found beside dark oak forests. You can spot it easily, as it is colorless compared to other more colorful biomes.

Once a Pale Garden is found, make sure to explore it during the daytime, since hostile mobs like Creaking, Skeletons, and Zombies tend to spawn at night. While exploring, you will notice that there are many pale moss carpets and blocks. These can either be mined using bare hands, but a hoe will be the quickest way to do so.

Roam the entire biome and mine as many pale moss blocks as you can. This will give you plenty to begin your project with.

2) Farm more pale moss blocks with bone meal

Once you have collected all pale moss blocks from the Pale Garden, you can continue to farm them using bone meal. A bone meal is an item that acts as a fertilizer to quickly grow crops or plants in Minecraft, including natural vegetation.

You must first place a pale moss block anywhere and right-click on it with a bone meal in hand. The moment bone meal is used on the block, the game will increase the growth of the pale moss block and convert several blocks surrounding the original block into pale moss. In the picture showcased above, the surrounding stone blocks were converted into pale moss blocks after bone meal was used.

You can keep using bone meal on other pale moss blocks to create more of them and farm them with ease.
