It is a unique material that forms on pale oak trees through a unique method and can be easily obtained from them. Furthermore, they can be smelted and crafted into a new line of building blocks that are bright orange in color.
Here is everything to know about how to get resin and use it in Minecraft.
Guide to get and use resin in Minecraft
How to get resin
First, you must understand the Creaking's mechanics and how striking it will impact the formation of resin. When attacked, the Creaking mob will not take any damage; instead, it will draw energy from its heart block, which is hidden deep inside one of the trees in Pale Garden. Particles moving between the heart block and the mob will be visible to you.
Whenever the mob is struck, drops of resin will start forming on the nearby logs of pale oak wood, around the Creaking's heart. The Creaking heart will produce additional resin clumps around itself the more you hit the three-eyed monster. On logs of pale oak wood, these clusters will resemble little orange drips.
Once enough resin droplets are formed, you can destroy the Creaking heart to destroy the creepy creature. After this, you can use any tool and even your hands to break the resin droplets and obtain them as resin clumps.
How to use resin clumps
Once obtained, the resin clumps can be used in three ways:
- For crafting blocks of resin.
- Smelted into resin bricks.
- Used as it is for making armor trims.
The most notable use is making new resin brick blocks. First, the resin clumps can be smelted in a furnace to make resin bricks. Then those bricks can be crafted into various resin brick blocks like slabs, stairs, walls, etc.
Another interesting use of resin clumps is to use as a color for all armor trims. The resin clump will give a bright orange color to armor designs.
