Minecraft: 5 things players would like to see in a Sculk dimension update
The Sculk dimension has become a popular topic among Minecraft players, especially after the discovery of the massive portal-like structure in ancient cities. This has led to untapped potential and mystery surrounding the Warden's origins in the game.
Several theories exist regarding what the Warden is: it could be the result of a failed experiment, a person infected by sculk, or an entity that originates entirely from the Sculk dimension.
Numerous modders have attempted to create their versions of the Sculk dimension, indicating that many are enthusiastic about the idea of a new realm.
Here is a list of five features that players wish to see in a potential Sculk dimension update in Minecraft.

5 things Minecraft players would like to see in a Sculk dimension update
1) Mobs from the Sculk dimension
While the Warden is a well-received mob, the Sculk dimension would greatly benefit from the introduction of various other mobs. A dimension populated solely by Wardens doesn’t seem enjoyable, and many players might choose to quit as a result of having to constantly face them.
It would be ideal to include more passive mobs that could assist players, as well as weaker hostile ones, to create a more balanced environment while leaving Wardens scattered throughout the dimension. The developers could also introduce a rideable passive mob and a creature that helps players gather new resources or clear sculk-infected blocks.
For hostile mobs, adding a small, weak mob, a new flying enemy, and a slender mob resembling the Stalker (a precursor to the Warden) could provide a challenge without overwhelming players.
Moreover, introducing a new golem that can be controlled through vibrations should add an exciting dynamic to the gameplay.
2) New boss battle
Minecraft could benefit from more bosses: many players consider the Warden a semi-boss mob. Therefore, when a new dimension is introduced for the mob, it makes sense to include a new boss. There are currently two official bosses in Minecraft: the Ender Dragon, found in the End dimension, and the Wither that players must summon.
The new boss could follow the model of either one: perhaps a mob that exists within the environment or one that is summoned. This boss could remain on the ground, unlike the other two, which can fly. It could create dark environments and teleport through sculk blocks, utilizing similar attacks to those of other hostile mobs in the Sculk dimension, in addition to breathing blue fire.
Upon defeat, it would be interesting if this boss drops unique items, such as scales, which players will be able to craft into a helmet and staff. Furthermore, it could drop an egg, similar to the Ender Dragon's, as well as its head, to serve as trophies for players.
3) Biomes from the Sculk dimension
The Nether is based on hell, and the End represents a wasteland. The Sculk dimension should introduce something new while still incorporating elements that complement the other worlds. One idea is to introduce a tall, fungi-like plant that resembles an oyster mushroom, featuring blue, sculk-like colors.
Additionally, a tar-like liquid could cover much of the Sculk dimension, serving as a replacement for water. Thin, tall plants that grow similarly to bamboo and split after reaching a certain height should be added, spreading out like a cobweb.
Another welcome addition would be a hanging plant with a spiky fruit, which would be consumable and could be planted on ceilings in any of the four dimensions, providing another food source.
4) Better uses for the sculk catalyst
Sculk catalysts could introduce more sculk-related blocks into the game, transforming regular trees into sculk trees and allowing players to harvest them for dark blue logs and planks. This would provide a unique way to obtain this specific color of log, as all other types can be collected simply by breaking the corresponding trees.
These new logs could potentially be combined with a new item from the Sculk dimension to create a new functional block. Furthermore, the sculk catalyst could be utilized to build the sculk golem.
5) More decorative and redstone blocks
With the new dimension, additional blocks are expected to be introduced, including new logs and planks. The cobweb-like plant can be harvested, then stacked and converted into purple planks. It functions similarly to bamboo. Additionally, this plant can be crafted into a raft, allowing players to swim across tar water.
The developers should also introduce functional blocks, such as one that dispels sculk. Moreover, incorporating more redstone blocks, like a sculk amplifier and a sculk vibrator, would be a fantastic enhancement. These redstone blocks could be activated and controlled using the helmet and staff through vibrations.
The sculk golem could be maneuvered with the sculk vibrator. The boss helmet and staff should be able to control the golem as well. The amplifier would extend the range of these vibrations.
Since the introduction of calibrated sculk sensors, they have become essential in various redstone builds. Therefore, adding more sculk-related redstone blocks would be a valuable improvement.
