How to install the Minecraft Beyond Earth mod
The Minecraft Beyond Earth mod can be installed using any mod loader with Forge. For this guide, we will use the popular Curseforge repository and mod loader.
Here's how you can download and install the Beyond Earth mod, one of the best space exploration mods in Minecraft:
- Head over to Curseforge and download the official launcher.
- Once downloaded and logged in with your Mojang credentials, search for the Minecraft Beyond Earth mod by st0x0ef. Alternatively, you can click this link to get to the official listing.
- If you wish to manually install the Beyond Earth mod, click on the black Download button and place the ZIP file in the mods folder of your desired Minecraft instance. However, if you do not have Forge installed or are new to installing mods, you should use the Curseforge loader.
- Click the orange Install button, which will open up a deep link to the downloaded Curseforge app.
- Once the app loads, you will be prompted to create a new instance or choose an existing one. You can choose an existing instance, but it is recommended to install this mod on a fresh instance to avoid conflicts with existing mods, shaders, or data packs and eliminate the risk of world corruption. Name your instance and create it.

How to use the Minecraft Beyond Earth mod
The Minecraft Beyond Earth mod allows you to build a host of interesting rockets that let you escape the world and reach terminal velocity. You have the choice of four rockets which have different tiers and ranges of travel. These rockets are powered by fuel and can be launched from a launchpad.
The Minecraft Beyond Earth mod also contains many unique blocks such as research stations and control units which allow you to build space stations once you reach outer space. Moreover, the Minecraft community can expand upon this mod by adding new planets and whole other galaxies.
As for space travel, you can craft space suits that will let you explore the vast expanse of space in search of the great unknown. The mod also contains a host of planets with unique geographical behaviors as well as different aliens native to each of them. What are the rockets available in the Minecraft Beyond Earth mod
The Minecraft Beyond Earth mod allows you to craft four different kinds of rockets. Each of these can transport you to a particular range and is calibrated to enter the orbits of specific planets. All rockets need to be crafted on rocket launch pads and powered with three buckets of fuel. Rocket fuel can be generated after crafting the fuel refinery in-game.

1) Tier 1 Rocket
The Tier 1 Rocket can transport you to the moon and the earth. This is the first rocket you will gain access to and is crucial in exploring the features of the mod. You can craft the rocket with these materials:
- x6 Compressed Steel
- x1 Rocket Nose Cone
- x4 Rocket Fin
- x1 Steel Engine
- x2 Steel Tank

2) Tier 2 Rocket
The Tier 2 Rocket can transport you to Mars. This is the second rocket you will gain access to in the mod. You can craft it with these materials:
- x6 Compressed Desh

- x1 Desh Engine
- x2 Desh Tank
3) Tier 3 Rocket
The Tier 3 Rocket can transport you to Mercury and Venus. This is the third rocket you will gain access to in the mod. These are the required materials:

- x1 Rocket Nose Cone
- x4 Rocket Fin
- x1 Ostrum Engine
- x2 Ostrum Tank
4) Tier 4 Rocket
The Tier 4 Rocket can transport you to Glacio. This is the largest and most powerful rocket you will gain access to while playing the Minecraft Beyond Earth mod. You can craft this large rocket with the following materials:
- x6 Compressed Calorite
- x1 Rocket Nose Cone
- x4 Rocket Fin
- x1 Calorite Engine
- x2 Calorite Tank
