Minecraft Bundles of Bravery drop gets its first pre-release
The much-coveted Minecraft Bundles of Bravery drop has received its first pre-release, meaning the update is just around the corner. This is one of the most anticipated drops as it will redefine how players experience Mojang's sandbox game.
Here's everything we know about the Bundles of Bravery drop pre-release.
Minecraft 1.21.2 pre-release 1: What's new?
The Minecraft 1.21.2 pre-release 1 for the Bundles of Bravery drop is out now. It brings a host of changes to a few in-game features and mechanics.
The creaking's behavior has been tweaked; the mob will not activate or freeze around players in Creative mode. This privilege is reserved for players who decide to take on the Pale Garden in survival or the newly-introduced Hardcore mode.
Additionally, the creaking summoned from the Creaking Heart cannot be named with a nametag. You need to find wild creakings in the Pale Garden if you wish to name it Bob (or god forbid, Steve).
Another significant change is that the comparators attached to the creaking heart block will now output a signal strength dependent on the distance to the connected creaking.
As for game mechanics, the air bubbles UI has received a revamp. It now allows air bubbles to have an empty state and a wobble when a player is drowning. The bubbles have also received a popping sound.
The 1.21.2 pre-release for the Minecraft Bundles of Bravery drop has also upgraded the Data Pack version to 57 and the Resource Pack version to 41. The Data Pack received new game rules with regard to player movement speed restriction, as well as a camera overlay. The Resource Pack received major UI air bubble changes.
Additionally, the 1.21.2 pre-release addresses a host of issues in the game, ranging from bundle animations to correcting the map color for pale oak saplings. These bug fixes focus on fine-tuning features from the snapshot and refining them for release.
Minecraft fans can expect Bundles of Bravery update to release soon
Pre-releases are one of the most celebrated updates in Minecraft since their arrival usually means that the official stable release or release candidate is just around the corner.
Minecraft 1.21.2 pre-release 1 means the end of the beloved snapshot 24w40a, which gave players a sneak peek into the Pale Garden and the creaking.
The last pre-release was the 1.21 pre-release 1, released on May 29, 2024. This was immediately followed by the arrival of the Java Edition 1.21 Tricky Trials on June 13, 2024.
Players can expect the Bundles of Bravery update to release pretty soon, around mid-October to early November, if it follows the trend of the last pre-release and update launch.
Mojang has not issued any official statement yet, so players will have to wait and see when the update actually arrives.
