Minecraft community reacts to an incredible Solarpunk city built in six month
Minecraft players have never ceased to impress everyone with builds that take a lot of patience and skill to pull off. From large city builds inspired by real cities to massive castles and even mountains, players are always using Minecraft as a canvas to showcase their creative skills.
Minecraft player and Redditor u/Sluda_Builds recently shared some images on the Minecraftbuilds subreddit and explained that they had built an epic Solarpunk city. The pictures show how extremely detailed the build is, and it looks extremely realistic in some of the aerial images.
Reacting to the post, u/Homer_Soldier said that it was the “perfect build” and that the details were surreal. They also mentioned that they loved the solar-punk aesthetic. This build would have looked wonderful in the PS VR version of the game.
The original poster also left a comment in the thread explaining some details of the build. They mentioned that it took them about six months to complete it. They added districts, area names, interiors, and some lore as well. They also mentioned that there was a video of the building process on their YouTube channel.
u/ChickenFriedRiceee said that the build was amazing and asked how many hours the OP (Original Poster) spent on it. They also inquired if tools such as World Edit were part of the process. Another user u/Dilpreet_13 said that they assumed the OP used World Edit because it would have taken much longer than six months otherwise.
Thankfully, the OP replied to the comment and said this build was done during weekends as they had a full-time job. They mentioned that it took them around 30-40 hours a week for six months, which translates to around 700-800 hours in total. They also confirmed that tools such as World Edit and Axiom mods were used to.
Great builds in Minecraft
This is not the first time someone has impressed the game’s community. Recently, another player made a large Gothic castle in Minecraft with an interior to explore. This building was surrounded by all the things one would expect from a Gothic structure. Apart from that, other players have created large cities with entire highway systems and functional buildings. These massive builds are likely the reason Minecraft has managed to stay popular for over 15 years.
