The Minecraft End Crystal is an item found in the End dimension's island where its primary task is to heal the Ender Dragon mob boss. It is one of the things that you must destroy when you reach the End to defeat the mob.

The End Crystal is extremely powerful and can only be placed on a block of obsidian or bedrock. If it is damaged, the item will explode with tremendous force. You can find it on each obsidian pillar on the central End island. These must be destroyed to defeat the End Dragon.

While it cannot be harvested, you can craft your own End Crystal by collecting a few simple items.

The Minecraft End Crystal can be crafted in the crafting bench using a few resources. It cannot be obtained or found anywhere else. Before you begin crafting, you must obtain these items:

• 7 glass blocks
• 1 Eye of Ender
• 1 Ghast tear

You can easily craft glass by smelting sand or red sand. On the other hand, the Eye of Ender can be crafted on the crafting table by combining blaze powder and an ender pearl. As for a Ghast tear, you must defeat a Ghast mob in the nether to obtain the item.

How to use the Minecraft End Crystal

The End Crystal has a host of uses in-game and can be used for summoning mobs, as well as destroying them. Here's how you can use the item in Minecraft:

1) Respawn the Ender Dragon

The Minecraft End Crystal is primarily used to respawn the Ender Dragon to fight it again. This is the only way you can get the The End... Again... achievement. You need to place four crystals around the exit portal of the End dimension to spawn the mob again.

2) Explosions

The End Crystal will explode if damaged or attacked in any way. This makes it a great device to set up if you wish to damage or eliminate mobs. You can use an elaborate End Crystal trap to defeat the Wither mob or hit an arrow at the crystal when any hostile mob approaches it.

Make sure to place the End Crystal on bedrock or obsidian and then hit it with an arrow from a crossbow. Once attacked, it will explode with the same force as a charged creeper.
