Minecraft fan recreates Battle of Kashyyyk from Star Wars

Minecraft’s blocky world offers players a virtually limitless canvas to build whatever their creative minds can conjure. Talented builders have created incredibly large structures such as cities, towns, and even countries. Other players have made complicated machines such as computers. Sometimes, movie fans use the game to make something that impresses the whole community.

Redditor TomOnMars shared some images on Minecraft's subreddit, where talented builders show off their impressive builds. The pictures featured scenes from the Battle of Kashyyyk from the Star Wars saga.

I built the Battle of Kashyyyk in Minecraft! How long do you think it took?

The original poster (OP) added a question in the caption of the post, asking the community how long they think the build took. It should be noted that they've made other Star Wars-inspired builds before.

Reacting to the post and answering the question, TheRealMasterTyvokka said they don't know how long the build took, but they do know it would take them years and still would not look half as good. CC_2387 joked OP should go outside, and this post needs more views for the level of detail in the build.

Zestyclose-Ice said that perhaps the build took around 4,900 hours to make. Desperate-Egg-8933 said it looks amazing. OP thanked the commenter.

Sir_James_Ender said that everything looks impressive. They also added that with the availability of tools such as Axiom and World Edit, players can build large structures insanely fast. So they would guess it took the OP five to 14 days.

Some Redditors joked around as well. Random_User7567 said that maybe it took the user 200,000 years. AlexaRhino said at least 1 hour. Open_Mathematician41 added that the build looks amazing, and the only thing they would do for the photos is add rainy weather so that it matches the overcast weather of the movie scene.

As mentioned, OP has built other impressive structures from the Star Wars franchise. In another post, the user shared some images showing the recreation of the Battle of Geonosis. The large structure featured an army marching in the mesa biome to make the whole thing immersive.

Considering how players creatively use different blocks and items in the game for their builds, it would be exciting to see what they come up with and the new items soon to be added. Mojang announced that the Winter Drop will bring the Pale Oak wood and the resin block, along with some other items.

New building items allow players to come up with interesting ideas, and make fantastic structures. Currently, the final release date of the Winter Drop has not been confirmed.
