Minecraft fans can soon experience Pale Garden and Creaking

The Minecraft Live event revealed a lot of exciting features and content that will be coming to the game soon. Officially titled the “Bundles of Bravery” update, the developers are finally adding bundles to the blocky world. On top of it, the Bedrock Edition will finally get the Hardcore mode after years of waiting. However, the upcoming Pale Garden biome and the hostile Creaking mob completely stole the show.

The Pale Garden and the Creaking mob will be coming to Minecraft in a future update. The developers have yet to mention an exact date. However, considering previous announcements and release timings, we believe fans won't have to wait long to try these features out.

Minecraft players can soon explore the Pale Garden biome and fight the Creaking

The developers took to the stage at MC Live to announce a new biome called the Pale Garden. This desaturated biome can be found in the overworld, and Mojang Studios is working to make the game scary with the addition of the hostile mob Creaking.

At the end of the MC Live events, the developers mentioned that both the Creaking mob and the Pale Garden will be coming to Snapshots, Previews & Betas soon. These experimental updates can be downloaded to try out upcoming features.

If we take a look at the previous announcements, it did not take long for the features to arrive. For example, at last year’s Minecraft Live on October 16, the developers announced several new features. In just two days, on October 18, the Java Edition 23w42a Snapshot was released which added the experimental features to the game.

However, seeing how the Creaking mob and the pale garden biome are two major features, perhaps Mojang Studios will take more than two days to bring these features to the game. Still, fans should be able to try them in a week's time.

Other announcements at the event

Apart from the newly announced features, Mojang Studios also discussed the upcoming live-action movie. Director Jared Hess explained why they had to go the live-action route instead of animation, and fans also got to see a new scene from the move. A Minecraft Movie is scheduled for release on April 4, 2025.
