Minecraft player recreates popular Bloxorz puzzle game
Minecraft is a sandbox title that allows players to express their creativity without any boundaries. While massive builds in the game are expected, sometimes talented players make something so unique that it blows everyone’s minds.
A Minecraft player and Reddit user named u/DqwertyC shared an interesting video on the game's subreddit, showing an isometric gameplay designed using different blocks from the game. It was inspired by the popular Bloxorz puzzle game and creatively used blocks like sand and cauldron to add interesting mechanics to the puzzle.
The original poster mentioned that this Bloxorz-inspired game was actually based on the Minecraft Java 1.21.3 map. Reacting to the video, user u/Manaea said that it looked fun to play and asked where they could download it to try. The original poster replied that the map was downloadable from Planet Minecraft and added a link for it.
However, it seemed that some players hadn't read the caption or noticed the Bloxorz name, prompting u/Keono41 to say that they would love to play this game on their mobile phone. Another user, named u/RandomPersonOnInter, reminisced about a similar game way back in the day, around 2013.
User u/CylixrDoesStuff pointed out that it was called Bloxorz and it can be downloaded and played on mobile devices.
User u/A1DragonSlayer commented that seeing this video was a nostalgia trip they were not prepared for. They mentioned that they used to play this game very frequently back in middle school.
The commenter went on to mention how fantastic the gameplay looked, adding that they couldn't understand how it was made even after reading the original poster’s description. Another user named u/KOR-agony said that this video reminds them of the inside of a structure block.
Many other users really liked the game, with u/MilesAhXD exclaiming that this was very impressive and cool. User u/Flanny09 added that it looks awesome, while u/PigletHuge4862 said that the game looked sick.
Impressive builds in Minecraft
Minecraft players have always impressed the community with their builds. Some players go the extra mile and create something astoundingly large and complicated.
Recently, a Redditor posted some pictures showing how they built an entire fictional country inside the game with proper cities, greenery, and an intricate network of highways connecting various structures. This just goes to show how dedicated some players are.
Other players have built structures like computers, calculators, and even other games, such as Minesweeper, using the redstone item to create complex circuitry and devices.
