Minecraft player spends four years terraforming a superflat world

Minecraft players never cease to amaze with their brilliant creations. The game is like a 3D canvas that allows players to bring out their creativity, and it would be an understatement to say the amount of dedication and patience needed to make these structures is massive. From recreating mountains to building entire fictional cities, there is no shortage of amazing builds.

A Minecraft player and Reddit user named Reasonable-Lock727 shared some images of their work after spending four years terraforming a superflat world with the creative mode. For those unaware, superflat is a game world that has no structure aside from the ground. It is also completely flat. Thus, all structures seen in the images are made by the user.

Some users on the subreddit had interesting questions. Superb_Ebb_6207 asked the original poster whether they used any third-party tools, such as World Edit, or sought the help of other players during the four years.

Another user, SwaggedUp06, commented that they made something similar but not at this scale.

User Bababooe4k said they would love to explore the world and asked the original poster to upload it somewhere. However, the OP had not replied to the comment at the time of writing.

Another user named Fudge-Monkey said they loved how beautiful everything was before realizing it was a superflat world.

User Marstheplanet16 said that working on something for four years is impressive and that the details and depth of the build make it even better. They also said that four years is a short period for such a detailed build, adding that the use of shaders and texture packs makes the entire thing even more appealing.

Another user named Several-Cake1954 asked what shaders or texture pack the OP was using, while TBoneDM asked for more details. Using any popular shader, such as BSL shaders, would have a very similar effect if not the same.

While this was a unique build, other players have also come up with some interesting builds of their own. Recently, a talented builder shared some images showing how they built the Shiganshina district from the popular manga and anime series Attack on Titan. The scale of the build was impressive and it was extremely accurate to the series as well.
