Minecraft players discuss biomes they would like to be added in future
One of the reasons why Minecraft is so fun to explore is because of all the different biomes in-game. From the beautiful cherry blossom biome to the dry and difficult desert biome, the options to set up a base or explore something are numerous. But considering the game has been out for over 15 years, a player can explore everything in just a few days. This means players want Mojang Studios to add new and more fleshed-out biomes to the game.
On this note, Minecraft player and Redditor percifulperks asked the game’s community what kind of new biomes they wanted to see in the blocky world. They also shared a few images with a caption stating how they love the Redwood forest biome added with the Biomes O’Plenty. The replies to the post were quite interesting.
u/drews-a-capitalist mentioned that rather than seeing a new biome added to the game, they would want a small update that makes the already present biomes more interesting and fleshed out. Biomes such as the savanna, the badlands, the tundra, and the desert have so much potential that is yet to be realized.
Concurring with the notion, u/jayjayhxc agreed that while there are many biomes already present in the game, all of them feel more like variations of the same. They also suggested some ideas which add unique qualities to each biome.
u/Pretty_Station_3119 said that they would love the desert biome to get an update that adds unique items to it such as desert animals, palm trees, etc.
u/Kenataii-XOXO said that they would love to make a base in the desert biome but it has nothing except sand. Another user u/SamohtGnir proposed that Mojang Studios could add tropical beaches as a stand-alone biome.
Minecraft needs better biomes
Minecraft players have been asking for some substantial updates to improve the game. While the updates add new items and mobs, it might feel too little too late. Developers may have to release updates more frequently and improve the already present features rather than adding new ones.
With the latest snapshots, Mojang Studios is going in the right direction by improving the minecarts.
