Minecraft to release an Eyeblossom Cape for Winter Drop, but there's a catch
Minecraft is set to release an exclusive Eyeblossom Cape as part of the much-awaited Winter Drop update. The update, which will introduce the Pale Garden biome and its creaking mob, is set to arrive soon. But a mistake from Mojang revealed that this exclusive cosmetic is also on the way.

A hasty update before release reveals details about the upcoming Eyeblossom Cape
Ibxtoycat, a popular Minecraft streamer and YouTuber with almost two million subscribers, recently noticed that the Minecraft redeem website contained a placeholder to enter a link that would grant players an exclusive Eyeblossom Cape. The box stated that it was offered as part of the "Buy a Cape, Get a Cape" offer, which is rewarded to players who purchase the official cape sold in the store.
It seems like the feature was accidentally uploaded to the site, ahead of an official announcement by Minecraft. Players who wish to get their hands on this cosmetic will have to wait till Mojang officially announces the offer. As per the terms, purchasing the Creeper Cape from the store will reward buyers with an in-game code that they can use to redeem this unique cosmetic.
The cape is based on the stunning eyeblossom flower that was introduced to the Pale Garden recently, ahead of its release as part of the coveted Winter Drop update. The familiar orange glow of the eerie flower is set against a dark background, as seen in the image shared by Ibxtoycat. This cosmetic will be an addition to the ever-expanding list of Minecraft capes.
The new Pale Garden biome is set to introduce a host of features and items, alongside a brand-new mob. So it comes as no surprise that Mojang is coming up with a promotional offer to add to the hype around the much-awaited biome's release.
After its release, the Eyeblossom Cape will be the sixth cosmetic to be released in 2024, along with some of the other popular Minecraft capes seen this year.
Players looking to redeem and get this Eyeblossom Cape cosmetic should look out for an official update from the game. As per the latest 1.21.4 pre-release 2, it can be assumed that the update is right around the corner. So, Mojang can be expected to officially announce the offer soon.
