5 Minecraft resource packs worth using when bored
Minecraft has loads of resource and texture packs to check out. These packs essentially change the textures of items, blocks, mobs, and even the sky. At times, many players might feel bored with the same vanilla texture, this is where they can use different textures and resource packs to completely change the look and feel of the sandbox title.
Here is a slit of some of the best Minecraft resource packs to check out when bored.

1) Pixlli
Pixlli is a relatively new resource pack that significantly improves the texture fidelity of blocks. Each pixel on a block gains depth thanks to the resource packs' addition of PBR (Physically Based Rendering) and POM (Parallax Occlusion Map) textures.
Additionally, in the free version, Pixlli raises the total number of pixels on each block face from 16x16 to 128x128. The features within each base pixel are far more detailed, even if the 16x16 pixel arrangement is still there. This enhances fidelity while allowing the pack to maintain the game's vanilla feel.
2) Bare Bones
The Bare Bones resource pack is the exact opposite of Pixlli. This pack greatly simplifies the default Minecraft textures while maintaining the same 16x16 texture. In particular, it lessens the range of color tones on textures, making them look a lot flatter and simpler. For example, a dirt block's brown portion will only have one shade of brown, as shown in the picture above.
The game looks entirely different thanks to the Bare Bones pack, which also modifies the textures of the mobs and items in addition to all the blocks.
Players who have seen Mojang's official trailers for updates or introductions may notice that the art style utilized in the trailers is different from the original game in that it has flatter textures. That is what the Bare Bones texture pack seeks to incorporate into the game.
3) Fresh Animations
A very well-liked resource pack called Fresh Animation gives the game brand-new mob animations. The majority of mobs in Minecraft, particularly the older ones, have very simple movement animations. They have the ability to move their necks in both horizontal and vertical directions, move their legs without bending their knees, and have no animated facial expressions.
Fresh Animations aims to address all of these issues in order to make mobs much more engaging. Players may observe how each villager can move their eyes and even eyebrows around in the image above. Likewise, this resource pack has been used to update the animations for each mob.
4) Alacrity
Alacrity is a unique resource pack that completely changes how each block and mob looks. It adds more depth and detail to block and mob textures, somewhat making them look like an old medieval, fantasy-based game. Hence, this is a complete contrast to how vanilla textures and previously mentioned resource packs look.
The pack also offers completely different mob textures. In the picture above, players can see how a farmer villager looks completely different from the vanilla version.
5) Boss Refreshed
Boss Reforged is another great resource pack that solely focuses on changing boss mobs' textures. As the picture above shows, it changes the textures of the Ender Dragon, Wither, Warden, and the Elder Guardian.
Each and every boss mob with this texture pack now looks more menacing, which will improve the immersion and thrill of fighting them.
