Minecraft: Should warped forest biome exist in the End as well?

The End is the third dimension in Minecraft, and fans have been requesting an update for it for a long time. The last update to the End came in 2016, and it has been over eight years since then. The most significant update added features such as chorus trees, end cities and the shulker mob, among others.

An addition that could improve the End would be the warped forest. This blue fungi forest, which can help us obtain blue planks and other elements, was first introduced in the Nether Update. That update also brought new biomes, structures, mobs along with various other features. A warped forest would provide players with desirable resources, such as warped stems that can be converted into warped planks, along with shroom lights and other materials.

Here are some reasons why adding a warped forest to the End in Minecraft makes sense.

Warped forest can fit the Nether and End lore

Endermen, native to the End dimension, most commonly spawn in the warped forest biome of the Nether. This suggests that the warped forest may serve as an entry point for endermen to enter the Nether. The biome could be a mutated version of the crimson forest that developed as endermen frequently teleported there. Alternatively, endermen might have teleported an entire warped forest from the End to the Nether.

This idea aligns with the fact that endermen are the only mobs found in all three dimensions. The warped forest may be a biome that transcends dimensions, logically making its presence in the End possible from a lore perspective.

The End currently feels desolate compared to the Overworld and Nether. Introducing a warped forest with its unique color palette could greatly enhance it visually. The blue-green colors of the warped forest would complement the End's alien environment.

The warped forest being an existing biome, it could be seamlessly integrated into the End. This would break up the monotonous look of the dimension. This might seem like a minor change but it could make the End more visually engaging for players.

The End dimension needs more biomes

The Nether and the Overworld provide multiple opportunities for exploration, but the same cannot be said for the End. Over the years, the other two dimensions have received updates that expanded their content. Introducing the warped forest to the End would give players a chance to collect warped stems and use them to craft warped planks directly in the dimension. In addition to that, players could gather shroom lights and other materials while exploring.

This addition alone might not completely resolve all issues with the End, including the warped forest alongside a larger update—introducing new biomes, structures, and mobs, similar to the Nether Update—which would significantly improve the dimension.
