Minecraft veteran's beautiful build leaves the community impressed

Minecraft has been out for more than fifteen years, and many players started playing the game right when it was released. This means that many veteran gamers haven’t visited the blocky world in years.

A Minecraft player and Reddit user named u/Nogrod shared some images on the game's subreddit, showing a massive base built in Survival mode with a complicated network of pathways.

But the impressive part was that the original poster built this after taking a long break of 10 years from playing the game. This was the reason why the structure had the classic Minecraft-era appearance.

Reacting to this build, u/Distinct-Pride7936 said that despite the original poster using new blocks, the base looks like something built in 2013. They added that the OP likely took a decade-long break, and came back as a living fossil.

The original poster thanked the user for the comment and said that they watched some old videos from a team they used to be a part of, called the Palandria, and it brought back some great memories.

The OP also wrote another comment explaining the idea behind the design. They said they aimed to blend the buildings and farms into the landscape. The build is not complete yet, and more things will be added to it. One of these additions includes a larger wheat farm with a windmill. A lookout tower and an enchanting house will also be constructed.

User u/sydwiththefrizznoway said that they love the bridges of the base and complimented the building skills the OP had to make something like this. Another user named u/Greeneland said that they are a big fan of bases made near water bodies. The user also added that they built a similar one using copper grating for all the balconies.

User u/aWeaselNamedFee said that everything looked nice but flammable at the same time. The original poster replied by saying that during a thunderstorm, they found half of their harbor was burning. Fortunately, they managed to put it out. Now, they are using lighting rods to prevent such accidents.

Mojang Studios recently released the Bundles of Bravery update, adding great items for players to expand their inventory without the need to travel to the End dimension. Bundles can be crafted using leather and strings, both easily available.

However, it was not the bundles or the Hardcore mode for the Bedrock Edition that excited most of the playerbase. It was the announcement of the Winter Drop. The developers will be adding a new biome called the Pale Garden. Players will also get a new hostile mob called the Creaking, as well as the eyeblossom plant and the resin block.
