The eyeblossom and resin can be found exclusively in the upcoming Pale Garden biome which can be accessed through snapshots. After its release on the Bedrock edition last week, these two items are now available for Java edition players.

Both of these items can be found fairly easily. You can harvest the eyeblossom during the daytime to get the closed eyeblossom while collecting this flower at nighttime will yield you the open eyeblossom. This is the only flower in Minecraft to have two different variants based on alternating diurnal cycles.

As for the resin, it can only be harvested by damaging a creaking repeatedly. Aggravating a creaking mob will deposit clumps of resin around its creaking heart. Players can easily follow the orange trail to the heart after damaging the mob to collect the resin clumps and refine them for further use.

The Minecraft snapshot 24w44a brings the two variants of eyeblossom to the game — open and closed, which can be found during alternating day/night cycles inside the biome. The eyeblossom flower has a host of uses in-game such as suspicious stews and dyes, making it one of the most important flowers in-game.

The resin and its family of items like resin clumps, blocks of resin, resin bricks, and more make their way as part of the update. The resin has quickly become a fan-favorite block among players due to its unique color and variety of uses. The resin bricks can be used to craft stairs, slabs, and walls as well, making it a useful resource in-game.

Additionally, the resin clumps can also be used to make a unique Netherite armor to make one of the coolest armor trim combinations in-game. The bright orange color of the item imparts a fiery glow which makes the armor stand out from the rest.
